- It actually snowed on Christmas day, and to celebrate such an occasion the old Sno Jet was drafted back into service. This has been sitting around for a couple years doing nothing, and with a little work she was back up and running.

I love the prank dedication! Hahaha. Fuckin crate and all!
“We got off, on, and really on” lmao 😂
I mean, that's obviously what it's designed for right? lol
Real miracle is the baseball barely moved the whole time
When you can yank the string once on a old machine and she comes to life .... that’s a great day ! Merry Christmas !
Thanks man, you too!
Nothing like the siberian snow shuffle on an old sled. Good to see an update buddy!
Haha, you definitely have to get back into the proper riding form.
That sled has a good sound to it!
Yup, I like the tone of it too.
I'm in ny you got snow I got rain . So much for an early start to my season. Love the old iron. May be time for me to look for a whip with a cayuna or an old phaser. Keep em coming another inspirational video. I think you need a few more. Lol
Cool video! Oh, the Drifter! LOL
Awesome 👍
Fries are done🤣🤣
Glad to see you enjoyed some Christmas snow on the old Glastron Sno Boat! Need to find some motivation to get my 69 Sno Jet ripping again.
Great video. Really liked your explanation of the key switch "Off, on, really on." Makes perfect sense to me. Merry Christmas, and stay safe out there on those sleds man. 👍😎
Love your content, you got me into resurrecting old sleds, got 9 of them, all runners but 1
Nice ride!
Thanks!
Cheers from Tantallon SK. Love your content. Thanks for sharing.
That's pretty cool, thanks! Bet you guys have enough snow up there?
@@toocheaptosmoke
We got about 6 inches a couple days ago. It's a good start.
You know we need more videos of older sleds running. The new sleds are nice but damn i don't have $15k I don't know what to do with. As soon as we get snow in Wisconsin I'm going get some videos of my 93 thundercat.
Just got 2 videos up with riding my 1993 Thundercat
Nothin like a good ol christmas rip...love the videos keep em coming!
Thanks man!
Lol looks like the baseball made it the whole trip! Awesome video!
haha, yup!
@@toocheaptosmoke you getting in on the burn out call out?
@@projectstruggle7594 filmed it, gotta edit it!
Nice!
carburator filler cap is baseball, AWESOME. my first ride was on an old single cylinder snow-jet
Love the vids man! Good story!😆
Haha, glad you got a laugh.
the christmas prank made me laugh,,,,, and i have a broken shoulder blade ,,,,,ffs,,, hurts like hell
Nice 👌 make more vids u got enough snowmobiles to do it lol.. im gonna try to not start stockpiling sleds so thanks alot for getting that idea in my head. Nice u could get out and ride. any rides a good ride 👍
haha, you never have too many sleds, just not enough storage space!
Common theme of 2020. Nice
Mint👌
Got 4 feet in one storm last week, today it’s 50 and raining and it’s all melted. Luckily I got a ride in on Wednesday, the 99 XC 500 went well but my 75 Moto Ski Nuvik once again lost spark on one side.
Dude, I know! We had a good bit too, if it hadn't gotten warm and melted we would have been set for a nice base. :(
Never got to ride a snowmobile, look fun. Ride everything else. Just never got the chance, for a snow machine. Going to try this year. Funny thing. Live in the mnts. Truck or dirt bike or four wheelers, get me there.
You are a great film maker and teacher. Looking forward to seeing the John Deere one day. Thanks for making 2020 more fun.
Glad to hear, appreciate it!
Cool vid, man. Really dug the build series on this sled. Would love to see a Merc Slo Pro revival.
Me too! About the most I did was spray some WD40 in the cylinders last year to hopefully keep things loose.
You got the same system I got at my inlaws, 8 hrs south west of you in VA. I have been ripping it up but of course having to make a few little repairs too. :) We got about 6 inches, ground isn't froze and it will be gone in a day or two but by then I'll be back to work in Georgia.
It wouldn't be proper riding old sleds if they didn't need repairs, haha.
First shake down cruise of the season: Always with no gloves, no hat (or helmet), wrong shoes and with pants that ain't waterproof (so a soggy bottom and cold hands are almost guarantied)... Cause - "I wasn't gonna drive it, I was just gonna start it up, let it get up to temp and and check some stuff"...😁
Those "funnels" are good right up until you forget about it and it sucks your jacket up and chokes off the sled and shuts it off. Lol. I had a 1972 Olympic that would happen lol
But then you get to smell like gas/oil mix for the rest of the day, lol.
A wise man once said it ain't snowmobiling unless your coat smells like gas... Louis skeebo was that man haha
My dude zip tie your electrical connectors together 😎😎
Haha, that would work
Love the sound of old Sleds.. I don't buy any sled older than 79-80. Love the 74 tx440 I got
Those are cool sleds, factory 38mm carbs and single cone style pipe right?
Fucking mint as always, but I didn't see any tires burning in the vidja there brother!? Zip ties says your not gonna disappoint send this new year out with a pile of fire brother! 🔥
Hahaha, I hear you man!! We're working on it!
Mint
Weeeee neeeeed the thundercat!!!!!
Been too busy riding it to make vids! haha
I hear why they call it a sno jet... it sounds like a race car!
I laughed #surprise
(The temp though... can't understand low temps in 'F)
32 is freezing anything colder than that is fu**in cold
Maybe it's Off, On, More-on?
Classic.
Was good to get it out and driving again, even better that it was on snow, haha.
You are living the dream. Any Scorps in the stable?
Unfortunately no, haven't picked up one of those yet.
Hey to cheap I was wondering if you still had any Panthers and if you could do a video on them?
Yeah, maybe one of these days, haha.
Fuckin mint
Let’s see good burn out for old peg leg
Can you even do a burn out on a Ski doo? Inquiring minds want to know.
I had a 72 Snow Jet and it did not look like that motor I had a 292 yamaha engine Single Cylinder
that sled is awesome! I would have got down the deer and hammerhocked it!
Should have rode that 650...
And my Gas tank was in front of the Machine built in all enclosed
Yeah, my gas tank is rotted out, got the engine shroud stashed somewhere...
Was that Moody’s
I can neither confirm or deny that... lol
The snow jet used a Yamaha motor, no?
Yes sir!
@@toocheaptosmoke thanks for the reply.
338?
433
@@toocheaptosmoke I've got a 73 Yamaha also with a 433, if it's been sitting for a while it's a real bitch to pull over. fortunately it's got electric start so i just boost it with a car battery. ☺
oil injection yaay!
Ztbp calling you out dude
Lol! I know man, gotta get burning!
Women and sleds the best way to enjoy them is wide open 😂👌
Haha!
Hey good page idea you get 25000 subs you give away a snowmobile?
