Attempting to do so would be a violation of Trump’s civil rights. It would be contrary to the U.S. Constitution. The only way it could ever be done is with a Constitutional Amendment and the Democrats are not even close to having the votes.

This ruling literally removes the checks and balances on the president from the other branches of government. It is also purposefully broad and doesn't even give an outline for what could be considered official and unofficial acts. It's sheer madness this is precisely the reason we rebelled against the tyrant King George and founded this nation. To have a represented democracy. A democratic republic for the people by the people, the presidency is a job title to lead, not rule. You don't realize how this fundamental changes things and there's nothing that can be done now until a possible future session of the Supreme Court may revisit this and reverse their decision like they have for the whims of the Heritage foundation.

The ruling was almost meaningless. Not only did they have this standards already, congress still has the right to impeach the president. This would be the check on thee executive branch. Also they tried to try trump on charges against of talking to the justice department. A department he oversees as president. He has the right to do this as they have the right not to listen to him. Which they did. They also didn't dismiss the charges and asked the prosecution to specify a crime because talking to the attorney general as president isn't a crime.
