I know this would take a while, but put every player at 60 ovr and give them all franchise potential and simulate a few seasons

the team I made of all custom players at 75 ovr with set stats specific on their style
and i put them elite , franchise and top 1 f[high]
for some reason the top 1 f went high fast, the franchise players didnt get that good til like 2 seasons after the top 1 f goes into retirement

AHL imperialism, every time a team defeats another team the winner gets a player from that corresponding nhl team
Craig Anderson was originally drafted by the flames, but he didn’t sign with them. He went back to college or Junior to get to drafted.
maybe to avoid teams that only won like 1 game getting into the finals, add AHL teams to the empty spaces that can be claimed. It may not affect the NHL teams too much but it is nhl 23 simulation so you never know, and atleast it challenges the team playing them.
you should do more of these imperialism's with different rosters
Damn we always dog on the simulations but that blues vs blackhawks game was simulated perfectly, since we could have the best offensive core in the entire league and take a total of 12 shots

I noticed this in you're other video but where you have Ottawa is not where it's supposed to be, the leafs should have all the Ottawa territory and then Ottawa should be to the right of Toronto and have a chunk of Montreal territory and a bit of the leafs.
