Urban Birding in Bergen, Norway | Observing Starling & Heron Chicks from Nest to Flight

  • Parks and urban waters provide excellent birdwatching opportunities. This spring, I was fortunate to observe a family of starlings and herons as they grew and eventually left the nest. The starling chicks grew rapidly thanks to the constant feeding of their parents. In contrast, the heron chicks, with their considerable size, took a bit longer to develop. They truly look like small dinosaurs.
    I hope you enjoy these moments I was able to capture!

    Great job! My only wish would be to have no music, light and lovely as it is. I want to hear the natural sounds more clearly...
