I feel like I'd prefer a constant 1v1 mode to warmup aim. TDM as just regular DM but with team scores would be better too. This just seems too chaotic to be a good warmup, and feels more like a replacement for Escalation than a true TDM

team deathmatch is so much better than regular deathmatch cuz you can actually practice your aim and abilities instead of just cringe angle holding
edit: 4:37 yes you can drop viper ult and it covers like half the map

It's a promo for the new mode. Just them showcasing this on the crowd watching on venue and online is enough.
They only really care that they make the reveal to a lot of eyes and not if it's a "great showmatch."

I think it's less the show match and the timing of it. People stayed up all night to watch the final 'that starts at ___ time' had to wait an hour and a half past that time for the game to actually start
