Why you rubbing on the boxers like that tho? Had me feeling some typa way
If nothing changes, this is how star players careers will go. If unhappy, they'll leave and rightfully so to an extent. But asking for a trade request every year for 3 years straight? Sometimes it might just be you 🤷🏽♂️
And the nba slaps lillard and not harden?
The nba implemented the supermax concept to reward players for staying. So for people like James and Dame to take money these organizations gave to them and then strongarm them into forcing another team to pay them while not getting a good deal in return is dumb to me. Just don't commit to the organization, there's no way Dame or Harden thought that these teams had any chance of winning especially when KD was on the warriors and they had to compete in the western conference.
@@twistedladder3506 yeah dumb imo lol
@@stephaniecriner2796 I think the NBA thought these players would stay for the contract since they offered them so much money but they didn't. Harden's teams were nice and beat really good teams during the regular season so I'll give him that but Dame only had that 1 good year and never really made a run after that lol
harden has a perfect situation in philly the only thing keeping the sixers from winning is hardens own shrinking in the playoffs
Crazy how these former superstar guards are now getting bounced around like they are nothing but rentals.
Let’s be real 99% of players are rentals to teams even if they draft that player. So team loyalty is generally overrated 😊
idk about Dame, he’s a solid superstar
@@Justinian43not without magnets helping his jumper 🧲🎯
@@nine3sevennahh what lmaoo
@@nine3sevenyou think they use the magnets all the time?
I think it's safe to say Dame wanted to stay provided Portland honored their word...they didn't and even if they fine him a quarter worth of money it's better for everyone at this point that he moves on asap.
But portland hasn’t honored their word for a decade. They’ve never given him a championship worthy supporting cast. It’s dames fault he’s stuck their, shouldn’t have signed the extension and left during free agency.
portland has honored their word. it’s not exactly the prime destination free agents want to go but they have actually surrounded dame with decent talent especially last season but there’s really nothing more they can do
@@lexseacame had his best season yet last year. Same doing his thing. Them boys wanted to tank anyway. Lol
@@blakeunderwood1075 exactly. it just wasn’t gonna work out. i don’t think anyone is to blame their relationship has just run it’s course. portland has young talent they’re ready to build around and don’t want to get rid of and dame who is still playing at a high wants more it’s really that simple
@@lexseanah sun. Portland screwed him. Relationships don't end for no reason. There's always a reason.
I definitely never expected CP3 career to go like this in the end, even tho he still been good I never vision him in so many different jerseys
Kind of sad tbh
Damn we’re getting old. Think of some of the guys who used to run the League in the early 2010s. CP3, Griffin, Wall, Rose etc are basically on their way out. It’s kinda sad but it’s life
Wall never ran the league
Yep and when they retire, a little piece of you dies
@@ry_an.wall was the man before beal
@@Willkill1999 thank you
All of those players you named are already out
You gotta feel for Dame that man gave the blazers everything and they won't trade him to his preferred destination.. loyalty is really a double edged sword
I feel like the mentality of a player off the court is vital to have success on the court
Why is NBA discourse, old heads and media OBSESSED with loyalty? Like it’s genuinely the ONLY league in the world that cares if you spend your entire career on one team. Like NFL discourse wanted to see Brady “do it without Belichick” but you NEVER hear people say stuff like “ Wanna see Steph do it without Steve Kerr”
Exactly proving yourself outside the perfect box is harder
You can blame Barkley, but I know he’s not the only one. That’s why I never really liked him. He’s so hellbent on enforcing loyalty that he forgot there are trades, free agencies, and player rotation.
The problem is once players get the bag, they all of a sudden want a trade. It's deceptive to the organization and the fans.
CP3 is the only one on this list at the end of his career. He's got 2-3 seasons. The other three could play for 5-7 more years if they can avoid a major injury.
It could get really awkward for Damian Lillard. I read a report by Aaron Fentress (a Blazers cover) that said if Damian Lillard isn't traded that he's fully willing to go back to Blazers training camp and potentially start next season with them just for the money despite the presence of Scoot Henderson.
If he stays at portland, he might have a poor season next year
I heard the opposite, I heard he’s willing to get fined til he gets moved.
Regardless Cronin gotta do his damn job. He fell asleep on the wheel on draft night and didn’t even attempt to build a contender around Dame. Now he got a disgruntled veteran around young players which isn’t good and has no other offers except from Miami.
I would say that the Blazers will find a way to make the trade happen before then, but it seems like that may not be the case. The Ben Simmons thing makes me rethink what teams are willing to do to find the right trade
@@4lifedeathwish yeah it's both bad for dame and the young players especially dame's replacement scoot
Kyrie goin prove everyone wrong this year in Dallas 💪
Not gonna lie, harden's legacy is already solidified
Dame still has a chance as long as he gets out of Portland.
But harden, CP3, and Kyrie have proven to be more headaches than they're worth. Harden hasn't been the same since leaving Houston (aside from flaming out in the playoffs), CP3 even on a decline has been consistent but ALWAYS gets hurt after 5 playoff games, and Kyrie's ego overshadows his talent, and honestly that talent hasn't done ANYTHING post LeBron. You can't rely on any of them to get you anywhere.
I love how you guys continue to downplay Kyries championship win because lebron like lebron didnt need him also to win the ring. Injuries are the reason why kyire is failing not because his talent cant carry.
Kyrie still got a little ways to go, and I think his days in Dallas will end up being the best stretch of his career.
You may be right but he needs to get out of his own head and start focusing on winning some basketball games
Eh… Cleveland will always be the best stretch imo, 3 Finals appearances + that 2016 ring was legendary & the shot to win it all was even more so.. that was the peak of his career.
@@giiotm8272He’s a much better player now though so anything is possible
Cleveland was peak
Mavs post trade deadline look like a 2nd tier team. Idk about contender but they’re starting to look tough with Lively, Gafford, PJ, etc
Should’ve put Kawhi Leonard on the thumbnail
He played more games this season then Curry kd and lebron
Just what I needed after a long day, a SWISHOUT video 🔥🔥🔥
Talking about dame, kyrie and garden’s careers as ending sounds crazy but it’s true, feel like they just got here
Garden ⛲️🪴👩🌾🧑🌾👨🌾
If Portland give too much friction on Dame's move out, then it will be a message to all the superstars in the league that loyalty to a franchise is a bad career decision overall
Shit this Harden situation is showing that rn. He wants out cause Harden left money on the table last summer so Philly could sign Tucker, House, and trade for Melton and now they don’t wanna pay him like they promised in return
@@samiFTW1because harden doesn’t deserve the money
@@ry_an.doesn't matter if he deserved it or not, if he was promised that, he should have it
"Loyalty" means nothing unless the team very clearly earns it. Someone like Steph has the luxury of staying "loyal" because he's gotten everything he could ask for on a consistent contending team. Now that doesn't mean stars should lie about staying, sign big contracts and ask for trades but still.
@@tatshmorningstar8811 I’m not defending the sixers going back on their word but you have to earn the contract. Harden melts down in the playoffs every year. They’d be shooting them selves in the foot giving him the contact.
This gen of players lived in the lbj/curry era. Where if they weren't partnered with them you were gonna win. Kawhi being the expectation. Reminds me of the 90s where if you weren't with Jordan or dream you weren't winning a chip. Lots of stars be it Barkley, Ewing, Harden, or cp3 just won't get a chip.
We focus so much on numbers especially points and assists. In reality it has never been easier to put up great numbers. Winning Basketball is about so much more than offensive stats. You have to play both sides of the ball. Talking about Harden and Kyrie like they are unstoppable? Yes they are amazing shot takers but are they a plus overall on the court? They are both a minus on defense and intangibles. Are they team players? Do they make others better on both ends of the court? Have we seen enough evidence over the past 3-4 years? If I am a GM I don’t not want either guy in the back half of there career.
I’d be willing to bet, kyrie ends his career off on the highest note out of the players listed 🏆 but i am a mavs fan so 😂

Harden doing too much w those trade requests
Never underestimate the Chef. He cooked all 4 of them.
Cp3 has won at every team. Every team he joined they got better
I think out of all situations that James harden and the stretch he had at Houston was his peak years and outside of the one year in Brooklyn he hasn't been the same since.🏀
CP3 & Harden collecting them jerseys like its pokemon
Gotta catch (have) them all!
Idfc what you do in the season, if you don’t show in the playoffs you not nice 😭😭
Bro i normally never support Harden but that man willingly gave up his leverage when he had the power because of trust in the organization and their promise to him and he expected the same in return and now that the 76ers have leverage they shit on that and snaked him
Pretty sure miami is gonna have to do a 3 team deal with the Nets to get the dame deal done
History repeats itself
Kyrie still young his career isn't ending yet
No hes not young by NBA standards anymore, the average age of NBA players retiring is 35 so he's got 4 more years left.
@@makesmartTROYcesGo tell that to steph curry or lebron 😂, plus 4 mo years still means its not ending yet
Raptors were so good in the regular szn it’s crazy
That Dallas contract was what it was honestly because they didn't want to short change hik.and have em Madd on the team and quit on em
Cp3 to the warriors was just so unexpected
This “Miami don’t got enough” piss me off so much 3-5 first round picks swaps whatever they get for Tyler ( at least a pick and young player or picks and role player ) and one of jjj or jovic is a fair deal for a 33yro
Rudy was a overpay
If bridges was doing what he was doing with nets with the suns even if he got traded for KD it wouldn’t have been with all those picks
Russ went for 2 first
PG and AD was younger than dame when they got traded
Do Miami got the best offer ever for a star no but this they don’t got enough shit is stupid
Dame doesnt owe portland a shred of anything. 10 years of the prime of his life as one of if not the NBA's best scoring point guard and has nothing to show for it.
It's always been like this thou I think people have short memories spans Ewing with the sonics Hakeem in Toronto Malone and Payton with Lakers and heat I can keep going .. unless u lebron or kobe or mj like select few players get to dictate the terms of the twilight of there career
I think it would be legendary if Dame won a chip in Miami. I actually like the Kyrie-Dallas match. Harden and CP3’s endings are the actual weird ones
Ive watched the nba long enough to see this happen to alot of past superstars
You without a doubt the best basketball CZcams channel out their
I can believe the the 2024 season will be starting in 2-3 months it’s seems like we were just watching the bubble
6:10 KD and Kyrie's handshake includes interlocked fingers...that's pretty interesting 🤔
Crazy How I kinda just did a vid on this a few hours ago about kyrie 😂 hopefully he ends his career right tho
Start of a new era
That ronnie foster track 🔥
Whatever the song, ambience, whatever it is is driving me nuts. Every 5 seconds sounds like mini car failing to start up 😂
Harden reminds me of Melo, the real Melo too not the ball brother. Melo was insane with denver and was a scoring machine, the team had over 50 wins a few times if i remember right and went to the playoffs multiple times too. But then wanted a trade and forced it and then it all went kinda downhill after the knicks.
I feel like if it wasn't for the off-court stuff, Kyrie would be a 2-3 time champion and probably one of the highest paid and well-viewed stars in the league
If you put up amazing numbers in the regular season, but you either only play half the games, or never make it out of the second round because you choke each year for 15 years straight...it starts to get old, which is why players like Kyrie, Westbrook, and Harden have different teams every two years.
These guys never had a finals appearance 😅
Ok so question Tyler herro, Jamie jaquez, Duncan Robinson and 3 first round picks isn’t a good package for dame?
And more than that. Some seconds and pick swaps included in that deal. Plus, they can always trad hero for more assets. Pretty good deal, but I guess portland wants more.
That's what I'm saying they're in rebuild mode they got all those guards what else do they need ?
Portland already has too many guards
Already know it’s a banger
NBA PGs are like NFL RBs. What they add to a team isn't irreplaceable
Why the horror movie music in the background lol
I don’t know bro I think cp3 is gonna provide production for the warriors second unit.

But its not unusual a superstar ending his career not having a ring.
Always love the J. Cole instrumental background songs, loved the video btw
Which owns the first beat
What is that beat on the intro
We’re going to have to have a discussion of the governor rotation in the midst of this as well. I don’t think KD would have gotten the trade without the new governor at the suns. Portland is going through something similar since they loss their governor and the new GM is on pure ego. James is just an anomaly and shouldn’t deserve a trade to anywhere in the nba. I need post season production for this gravitas- but salute on finessing the contract in his favor
Man respect to serge Ibaka for making that winning player list
4:08 thats bullshit. he never even wanted to give john a try. Russ is the one who requested a trade because he didn't like the houston"james"rockets environement so john w was what they could get.
Fusion dance 😂😂
They should let Lillard move on from Portland already, he gave that org his all. Harden however is up to his usual antics, seemingly breaking out his fat suit again just to elicit a trade.
Kyrie been in the league HOW LONG?! 👀
Kyrie looking like OJ Mayo these days
Sad era sad times
Harden should’ve re-signed in Brooklyn. I understand all his frustration that was pent up during the mandate but he ended up fumbling millions and his best chance to win a title
Tbh that was KD harden and kyrie best chance at a ring damn injuries
Injuries have always plagued James Harden and his championship hopes. Very unfortunate
@@nolimitdeuce Tbf KD and Kyrie already have rings but yeah that was their best shot at winning a ring without being in the shadow of Golden State or LeBron. KD still has a shot but for Kyrie, we’ll have to see if all the moves Dallas made this offseason pans out
@@samiFTW1 I mean both KD and kyrie had to a lot to prove individually KD wanted to prove he can win without Steph and kyrie wanted to prove he win without bron and vice versa
They dont need to prove anything man thats like saying lebron need to prove he can win without dwade/bosh, kyrie/love, and AD/mickey mouse. Lebron clearly couldnt win shit without allstars/superstars, why do KD an kyrie have to prove anything? Warriors needed KD to beat kyire/bron and thats why they went after him.

Harden revolutionized the travel three pointer
hard disagree on Kyrie, dude is a basketball conman, he diverts all your attention with that other stuff, so that you don't notice he don't contribute to winning. Pundits (even youtubers) are always like, if only he focused on basketball, or we never talk about basketball with him, or he's not winning player because of his off-court stuff. BUT in my opinion, he's borderline all-star, if you count basketball value only. He's too small and his skill set is not that relevant in a team game, sure he has crazy finishes, but it's more efficient to be stronger or faster, to either power through to an "open" lay up or sprint past the defender for open lay up. Off the ball movement not his thing, he's too small, not a terrible shooter but just under 40%3P is not good enough for his height, playmaking also not his thing which is very important from his position is most teams and if you are not the play maker, we are coming back to moving off the ball. And last thing, he's just too tiny to draw fouls, even with his magical skills.
What if Okc didn’t let James go would his career and growth have been different
Wouldn’t have really became an all star or at least, never an mvp
Kyrie low key been unlucky since leaving Lebron, his teams always hurt or something
I love seeing harden with 0 control finally after years of his bs. He don’t play they can cut him he sells and messes up on purpose his trade value goes down and he won’t even be eligible for a vet minimum and I love to see it
Come to the think the players that got drafted in the early 2000’s all the way to the 2010 draft class players about to be gone within the next 3-5 years. We are entering a whole new era of young upcoming superstars, stars and all stars imma miss the era of players we seen hold it down for the youngins to take over and take it another level.
Because Miami doesn’t have any young players to trade they’re going to have to trade like all their picks
I hope this thumbnail know what its talking about coming from a Clipper fan
Got the chance to see Dallas play live as a Mavs fan with Luka and Kyrie both on the court and their problem literally just lies in the fact that Kyrie was out of place in the middle of the season and they traded the remainder of Lukas help to get him in the first place. They need to work out a good chemistry instead of both being ball dominant heavy scorers. My hot take is that Luka is the best PG in the league at the moment and he’s only starting to enter his prime now, if they don’t take advantage of this opportunity they’re gonna waste a potential dynasty caliber player by failing to surround him with a competent supporting cast who can catch his passes and make open 3’s when he passes to them. If they can do that I believe he and Kyrie are more than capable of winning a ring or two
6 months later, they’re starting to look like a contender with Lively, Exum, DJJ, Gafford, PJ. Obv Kyrie and Luka.
They’re winning a ring these next few years
Kyrie career definitely not ending
All I'm saying is, we got the best package for Dame if we're the only one offering 🤷
Well, Miami is pretty much the only team allowed to offer anything, since Lillard basically requested a trade there. If he did not, I guarantee you that there would be better offers
Keyword for Harden NOT IN THE PLAYOFFS 😂😂😂😂
Kyrie did 50, 40, 90 in less than thirty games

Gotta appreciate steph even more for sticking it out with the warriors through the highs and lows 💙💛
The warriors are an amalgamation of the lakers and the spurs. They’ve maintained reciprocation with their stars.
Thanks to the Warriors organization as a whole because at one point they were gonna take Monta Ellis over Steph.
It's really easy to stay loyal when your team makes an effort to build around you
What lows?? Warriors won 4 championships in a span of 8 yrs, was in the finals 6x, talking like steph stays on a poverty franchise
@@noobiedogg670 You act like Steph was drafted into a great situation. GS was between borderline NBA purgatory and poverty when he got there. He turned that franchise into what you see now and they rightfully reciprocated. Stop hating.
