Still evidence of tons of mining for diatomeceus earth if you hike up by Tripoli Rd to East Pond, evidence of their old rails that carried the tripolite down the mountain to the camps, which is where people camp today on Tripoli Rd. on a hot day, the water running through Livermore is a great place to soak alongside the ruins. also, trout.
