Editor Alex here, thanks so much for commenting (and hopefully liking the video)! ❤
It's because of amazing people like you, doing exactly this, that promotes our content on the YT start page. So we really appreciate it and hope you share it with anyone else that might be interested!

    1. Write crazy interesting premise that gets greenest
    2. Pay close attention to fan discussions on where they think it will go
    3. Pick and combine the best ones for a better ending than overpaid writers could ever come up with
    4. Profit

randomly stumbled across this vid and I’m so glad I did! Enjoyed the commentary and your narration (I’m fresh off of GOT/HOTD analysis vid and I’m sick to death of flat AI voices 🙄). Subscribed!

Haven't heard of the other 2 though. Anything specific you recommend people should check out from their respective channels?

I still think about the ending of the shield. Unexpected, chilling and perfect for the characters.

I heard about the shield but never got around to watching it. It's a really long running series right? Shows that go on for that long tend to run out of steam before they can get to a satisfactory finale so from what you're saying that's impressive.
I'm looking for stuff to watch so you got any other shows you can recommend?

@@alexransome3841 shield loses steam towards the end but then pulls it back for the finale. Depends what you're into for shows I recently watched the original British house of cards. Dated but brutal and darkly funny.
While it was destroyed by critics I also loved the gleeful camp popcorn fodder of obliterated.

@@bengleiss9416 I watched most of the American HoC but wasn't sure what to make of the original. Similar to how the American Office is better than the British one.
I do enjoy a dark comedy every know and again (like Barry on HBO) so thanks for the recommendation!

@@alexransome3841 i haven't watched Barry yet but hear good things I will add it to the list. Season 1 of the UK office is better than season 1 of the US office (which is trying to do the same thing) then US office finds it's own grove. Although in terms of laughs and lines I quote 30 rock is by far my favourite of that era

@@alexransome3841ahh man the shield is one of the most consistently great shows ever with in my opinion the second best finder ever after the six feet under finale. If you want satisfying complete stories definitely check out those two. I’d also go with mr robot, dark, and in my opinion the best show of all time the wire to your watchlist if you haven’t seen them. Those five are some great consistent shows

Lost was amazing, till they complicated unnecessarily the plot and took them out of the island. That's why you keep things as they needed to be keeped. If the show needs more seasons like Rome or Marco Polo you give them more seasons. If it needs to be keeped short like Lost you do that. If the show is a$$ like Batwoman you end it after the first episode.
