i have this bag already and besides the review of it, i loved how you talked about watching camera reviews… i found myself in a whole recently about gear and wanting to create but still feeling limited with what i had.. but it’s really just about you doing what you can with what you have and not sweating the small stuff when it comes to gear

That's one of your better ones man, the run at the end screaming 🤣🤣. Here's the thing for why I procrastinate on shooting - my camera isn't good enough, I only own a kit lens, I don't even own a bag, my shoes smell, my face is no good, my ancestors are disappointed in me, one of my eyes twitch and my mom doesn't think I'm cool.
Appreciate the continued encouragement to shoot even despite the repetitive reasons/excuses you must read in comments all the time. You got patience no doubt about that.

All over Scotland last night people were taking photos of the northern lights on the phone they had in their pocket and the photos look great.
I’ve usually also got a harmonica in my pocket. That doesn’t always work out so well.

Yes I 100% understand the not buying gear because of costs! This world of video and photography adds up!
I missed the northern lights but I did see that MANY people got some great photos with their phones!
The phone is fine. It fell on the grass and didn't hit as hard as it looked! I think the slow-mo made it look more dramatic than it actually was!

Good to hear! Most of those issues are from people who have only watched reviews or handled the camera once. Once you put the time in, theres not many issues that you run into that can't be solved by some accessory or another means.

Why is it that people who spend so much time creating videos often miss the simplest misspellings? Other than that, great video!
The crazy part is I saw this before I rendered the video.🤦🏾♂️
To answer your question, I went in to fix the typo and changed some other things as well. I decided to "undo" some other changes I made and must have accidentally hit "command z" too many times.
The BEST way to get a GOOD understanding of how things like this happen, you would need to start posting videos to your channel. This will give you a CLEAR front row seat to how mistakes are made.
Check out some of my other videos.. I'm SURE you will find MANY more mistakes. 😁
Here's the lesson though... don't be AFRAID to make mistakes. There are going to be people "like you" who will point out those mistakes.
Some people will do it for negative reasons, some are doing it to be helpful. No matter WHY people point out your mistakes, NEVER let that stop you from creating and getting your message across!

Like, people clicking through random thumbnails won't necessarily have the attention span that is required to fully appreciate the craft and care you put into your videos, and that's a shame. I hope you setup a Patreon in the future so that you can be rewarded by those viewers who don't necessarily fit into "the algorithm."
One simple reason: it’s because we spend *so much time* creating videos ;)
When your head is so far into the screen adjusting a million things, thinking about script, speiling, colors, audio, editing, storytelling, eq, grading all at the same time … things slip through.
I can usually spot a type *like that* in other peoples articles, videos and what not - but after staring at my own video for 4 hours straight, just aching to get it done, that final *final* finalfinal «final» *finalfinal* v3 final video doesn’t get the last watchthrough before release … and the best part is … it doesn’t really matter :) at all. the world is stil here.
Actually: it does matter though, since it causes people like you to comment, which drives engagement for the video ;)
Please don’t take this comment too seriously, it’s just a tongue in cheek way of saying «things happen because work» and we move on :)

Spending hours on a video is also just ONE part of people's lives. There's other things like taking care of family, running a business and just dealing with the ins and outs of life.
