    Had the 5’s. Upgraded to the 7’s for better sound quality at a phenomenal price break. Was pleasantly surprised they it had the retransmission option. Absolutely love their sound and retransmission feature. Have to be one of the best buds on the market.

    Those are no tips and tricks. This is just the quick start guide / advertising.
    Fair enough but please don't act like you are neutral reviewers.
    I own the PI7 and they sound amazing! But you mentioned none of their problems they have like the poor connection range or the poor quality of the case or the terrible app or the inability to use ambient sound without the app or the poor battery life.
    They still CAN be worth the 400€ if those problems aren't a problem for you but sadly they are not nearly as perfect as you act they are.

      @karl-johanalvarsson9937 Před 3 lety

      I agree. The connection range is a huge issue. It does not really matter that the SQ is good if it skips in every damn song (iPhone). I also tried to connect them to my new LG tv (3 meters away tops) and it skips once every second. Completely worthless.

    Got the PI7 today. I have the B&W 803, love the B&W sound and was very interested in the high quality transmission option.
    It took me a while to connect and after a Phone reset everything worked well (so far). The sound is amazing, especially when you put the noise cancelling future on.
    I did a test with my Samsung phone + Laptop both via the mini plug & BT and it works both well. The con's: the app is not stable enough, no volume control in the app and, after 2 hours testing, I am not convinced about the sound cancellation.

    Hi, got a demo of PI7 today at the store.
    Great sound and perfect fit for me. Really liked them. But.. the sound was very low. I had almost highest volume. I’m not a person who needs extremely high volume but this was really low. And yes, I checked that the health data had not ”kicked in” and lowered the volyme.
    This is ungortunately why I will not buy them.

    Super video!
    On my PC the case of the PI7 only shows up as a 16/48Hz soundcard displaying "APTX" in app using usb-c and when using headphone jack "APTX-LL", so i am not sure the case transmits in aptx adaptive to get to the 24 bits level.
    The PI7 still sound awesome though outclassing the competition for sound alone.

    • @AudioAdvice

    • @AudioAdvice
      @AudioAdvice  Před 3 lety

      The smart case that comes with the PI7 can function as a wireless retransmission device that will transmit high-resolution audio from your laptop's stereo miniplug headphone output or an iPhone's stereo miniplug headphone output up to 24-bit/48 kHz to your PI7 in-ear headphones, which is higher than CD quality. If streaming audio higher than 24-bit/48 kHz quality, then the audio will be compressed to this audio quality, but this is still higher than CD quality. Hope that helps you out! • @AudioAdvice
      @AudioAdvice  Před 3 lety +2

      Thanks, Dan! As for the PI4 vs the PI7, PI 4 is a more sportier in-ear model. Similar to the PI 7, the sound signature is natural, realistic with a deep bass extension, but the form factor is in an all-day, neckband style. Overall, the main difference is in the ergonomic design and feature set. Having said that, there is a noticeable step up in sound quality with the PI7. Hi Luli. We're happy to hear you received yours! Good taste. You are right. Great question. Yes, the smart case with its wireless transmission super powers is exclusive to the PI7. With a USB cable it wirelessly retransmits audio from that source to the earbuds. You can read more about the differences in our full-written article here: www.audioadvice.com/videos-reviews/bowers-wilkins-pi7-pi5-noise-canceling-in-ear-headphones-review Thanks for watching.
