Thanks for watching!
20 yrs ago I bought the black 16710 and loved it. Always thought I should've gone for the jubilee bracelet rather than the oyster which mine is. Have loads of watches but the wife bought me the Blueberry for my birthday. Got it before my birthday on July 2nd. Not taken it off since! Love it.
I don't know when you ventured out from doing just G-Shocks but it's so welcome to see your happy and knowledgeable coverage applied more widely. All the best with it.
Thanks a lot David! Really appreciate that! 😁👍
Have a couple of SKXs and just got the same exact model you reviewed - it's fantastic! Super happy I got it.
Thanks for your video…makes me want to get one for sure!!
Just got the orange version, and it is stunning.
Great review, very comprehensive. I might just get one of the black and silver ones on a curved end silicon strap to go alongside my ceramic/ sapphire modded SKX.
Hey 👋 Thank you & that would be awesome!😄
Really enjoyed the video!!
Thank you! 😁
since the pandemic the amount of international travels at least in our industry has significantly reduced.. the international contacts in different timezones remain though..
Some might disagree, but in my opinion the callers GMT makes more sense, as the caller adjustment will be certainly used more often than the actual time zone adjustment..
Love these watches. I think the black SSK001 doesn’t have a sunburst dial though. I know the blue one does.
Do these watches come with extra links? My wrist is an 8.75 in. I’m new to buying watches and don’t want to have to hunt for links if it ships too small.
That's a beautiful timepiece, I own the blackberry ⚫️ SSK001 and the gorgeous blueberry 🫐 SSK003. The sport 5 GMT was what brought me into the world of Seiko and mechanical watches ⌚️, great review brother, your content is always top tier!
God bless you hermano
Seiko SRPD59K1
wich one between those your prefer..?
@boulam2403 the Blueberry brings joy every time I display it!
@@albertosoto6213lol how many watches do you have if you can afford to just buy 2 of such similar watches
Fantastic review, I am planning on getting this colour, I may replace the glass with sapphire.
Thank you! That sounds awesome! 😎
I bought two from Amazon. One was a return and arrived with missing links in the bracelet and the other is running 19 seconds fast. Love the watch though.
Look foward to the new presage modern style review
Excelente reloj. 💯💯💯👏👏👍👋
Great review. I also purchased this same piece 10 days ago and love it! I do agree sapphire crystal would be great but also a solid caseback and screw down crown as well. Only change I made to mine was replacing the bracelet with a more substantial Strapcode jubilee bracelet. Nevertheless, a great piece to any watch collection. Well done again on the review.
Hey! Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed and congrats on your one :)
I also used to buy Seiko watches, but after I discovered the Steinhart watches, well... I will just say that swiss quality convinced me better, and there was no need to change or mod anything, as it is just perfect (for me).
Cool watch & I love your content
Thank you!!! 😄
Thanks for sharing. How do you wind it?
Hey 👋 the crown winds in original position to give it some charge⚡️ thanks for watching!
Wow looks like a rolex dalm those are around 4 hundred in change good luck finding a cheap one dalm know I want one..
Does anyone know how this would wear on a 7.5 inch wrist?
Está bonito ese reloj saludos desde Panamá 🇵🇦
Hey 👋 Thanks for watching!
I dont mind using the GMT hand as local hour hand for travel and ignoring the date, if only this is screw down as I swim with my watches during travel generally
You can swim with this watch.
Is it a 120 click bezel or is it a friction fit bezel? It looked like there was no clicks, should at least align ok if thats the case :)
Hey 👋 it’s a friction bezel! Thanks for watching!
Yes, I took the clicker off my SKX (I don’t go diving) and man, what a buttery smooth action and great bi directional bezel it now is, much more useful, day to day.
Is it all black bezel? The photos look like the bottom half is grey
yes half the bezel is gray.
Seiko orange gmt is most demanding in dubai
I just ordered this GMT on Amazon. Only paid $259.00 by using my points. I think I got a good deal.
You definitely did! Congrats!
The glass is sapphire glass
Have SKX and just got Blue GMT. Think SKX will stay in my closet.
At this price, one can easily compare this Seiko GMT with the Steinhart. And it is game over for Seiko: sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel, swiss movement (SW-200, SW-330 etc.), better quality bracelet and better dimensions, as one can find also versions of 39 mm case. And last, bot not least, it has a threaded crown and it is water submersible until 300 meters. The price goes up to 680 euros, but Steinhart is a real solid watch, and in comparison Seiko 5 GMT seems just a joke.
Oh yeah the steinshart is epic af, very good deisnine to on theyr wach defiantly stands out among the crowd from other gmts‼️👍👍
Steinhart are pretty much homage watches and a relatively new company, that still have much to prove. With Seiko, sure, you might get less bang for buck spec wise, but you are getting an in-house movement, and an original design. Not to mention a 142 year-old brand with a rich history on the wrist.
@@ivanmejia6843 Let`s agree to disagree. I have already had 9 Seiko watches, I was in love with the brand... Until I bought my first Steinhart GMT Ocean 39 blue-red ceramic. I could not care less about their rich history, or about the fact that Steinhart makes homages. The watch I have from Steinhart keeps the time way better that any Seiko watch I have (had), +5sec./week (so it is more reliable) and it looks and feels (personal opinion) more premium. Seiko can take their "rich history" and "in-house movement" somewhere else, this Seiko GMT is nothing but a joke. When I buy a watch I do not buy a brand, I buy a jewel with a specific purpose: to tell the time (as good as possible) and to look as close to my personal preference. For me Steinhart Steinhart GMT Ocean 39 blue-red ceramic rules, and Seiko is waaay behind.
Saw a lot of people complain about the pricing on this, but i generally didn't see it above 400 euro. Got mine for around 300, on a sale. Maybe it's a regional thing. Worth every penny. It's stunning in person. Also, a lot of SKS fans that think this is a clone of that with less water resistance, need to seem them side by side, cause the details, volumetric hour markers, and depth of the elements, is nothing like the SKS.
I didn't like the lock of the strap of this watch. Old fashioned locking. Locking should be updated.
The dial and strap are outstanding.

Can someone prove a more sleek minute hand . . . I would not buy this watch . . as supplied by Seiko
No sapphire! And still 22 not 20mm lug width. No way for $500. Maybe $300. !!
