Asheville seems like a Portland,OR done right - fun, quirky, artsy and welcoming without the crime and homelessness
Let's hope not; quirky and artsy are the first symptoms of the cancer of leftist authoritarianism that killed Portland and other leftist/Democrat party-controlled cities. Soon, it will be taxpayer-funded "Keep Asheville Weird" murals painted on abandoned buildings occupied by drug addicts and bums because the progressive ideology believes asking the lazy and morally corrupt to contribute to society is mean. Then, to complete that quirky and artsy flavor of fascism or national socialism or communism or any other of the leftist political manifesto of Totalitarianism, the democrat party is currently enamored with. Just as in Portland, any window without a blm sign will be smashed by the democrat party's local street thug army, antifa. Anyboby without the correct ribbon or political slogan will be beaten, anyone who defends themselves will be prosecuted.
So, with all due respect. Ball up "quirky and artsy", stuff it in a bag of shit and mail it back to Portland, or San Fran or L.A. or any other once proud, productive city, who first sign of doom was becoming "quirky and artsy".
Well I live there and I see homeless people but luckily we have shelters
Uh, it's not done right. Homeless drug addicts are everywhere ruining the city.
Asheville is a crime riddled town. You are misleading people.

No way would I visit Asheville. Thugs have taken over. Crime, violent crime has taken over the city thanks to the city leaders. Be safe folks, do not go here.
