Thank you for the feedback, this is already quite an old video and at that time there was a problem with the function of displaying keys, but in the last and future videos this function will be available

Press ctrl+R and scroll up with your mouse to add as many loop cuts as you wish, then press RMB to place them at the exact center of the mesh, or LMB to move them where you want. Hope this was helpful!

Why turn the cube into a sphere instead of just creating a sphere, and how you do it, in the video just turns into a sphere and I cant understand how
Because the cube will then have more polygons and less likely to have artifacts in simulation. You select the cube and press "ctrl+ 5" or just add modifier "subdivision surface" with fifth level
