Back in 2000 I went to the Detroit auto show and they had a 300 convertible concept car. It won the award as best new car at the auto show. That was my dream car and they never made the damn thing. I love the 300 and always wanted a convertible plus I get a great deal since I worked at Chrysler so that was going to be my next car for sure. There is a cool video about it on CZcams.
He is right if you have a done car it is much easier. For wiring harness especially. I have upgraded a chrysler 300 that had a 2.7 and I put a 3.5 HO motor in. No check engine light and everything worked great. The man was so happy it looked perfect and ran great. He tipped me $500 he was so happy. He was sceptical at first but very happy after completed. It needed ac compressor from doner car under hood harness, computer, and a few other thing S I can't remember it all. But it was very easy to do. You can drop the k-frame and unplug wiring harness. The motor and trans comes right out the bottom it is very easy to do like he said. I was a mopar mechanic for 15 years. I was ASE certified but I have not renewed it.
Update: Lil Baby bought the 300 Hellcat from the owner who built it..
