Never Forget the impact this band even had on my current music.
You're the reason I started writing poetry.
Jordan... It's so funny that you said what you did because, experiencing your music over time, I used to be able to identify with Andria. Now, I found myself guilty listening to it just like you. I've moved on from that and am now open to all of the happiness that the universe has to offer. That song has served it purpose in your life and in mine, and now it has a different meaning. I still listen to your old music occasionally, but to be honest, and absolutely ZERO disrespect to you or your band (I think you're BRILLIANT musicians), I've moved on and am listening to more positive music now. I've worked my way through the negativity in my life and your music helped me A LOT, but I don't want to get dragged back down into that negative space. Love you guys from the bottom of my heart. Never stop making music
YES YES YES
I met him after his show in El Paso 4 years ago and he started the show by asking the crowd to put away their phones and really just experience the music with them and when I approached him casually just smoking a cigarette outside their bus by himself he was the most humble and approachable guys this will always be one of my favorite bands!
God damn, Jordan is so humble.
Our worlds come to constant ends and meanings change. I think the way that Jordan approaches writing as a snapshot that can be revisited really helped me. During the dark times I hate all my work and what it means, it's nice to feel not alone in this struggle. Thanks for the video
You have no idea how much you helped me as kid you were the only friends I had
This is so important! What he has to say... I am glad he did say it.
God damn this band is incredible. Their songs are such beautiful stories, real, gritty stories...works of art

Inspiring.
Well Andria fits perf with me right now, but I do know I'll move on like I have with everything always.
@Jack GILBERT Everybody has to let go someday. I wonder when we will.
I saw this and assumed the song must have some bad message to it. Then I heard it and it seemed fine. Don't know why he seems to feel bad about it
My interpretation is that you don’t need to feel responsible for your ex even though you still love them. You don’t need to “lay a bed before them keep them safe until the end.” That’s my interpretation after really feeling this song after getting out of a codependent relationship and pushing myself to be friends still out of obligation even though it still hurt me. My feelings have also changed. I love her and we are friends but that feeling of obligation needed to die for me to be able to really move on not just from the relationship but also from the feeling that I need to take care of everyone.
Can somebody fill me in on the story of the song?
LACY Probably about his ex or something along those lines
probably about his ex who had to move far away, which forced them to have a long distance relationship that eventually went downhill
ok clipped out the best part of the song :E
