@@averageproblem I’d have gone with Qg4 and try to get the queens off asap White’s up a piece, and after the queens are gone there are less chances to get mated

@@livedandletdie there are a lot of fancy terms many tactics have interesting names, though you might already have an understanding if the concepts (non-inclusive list: pin/skewer, fork, discovered attack, double check, zwischenzug, attraction/deflection, undermining, interference, overloading, pawn breakthrough) there are other things that have useful definitions, like pawn descriptions (doubled? isolated? passed? backwards?), “gaining/losing” tempo (i.e. time in terms of moves) and the resulting concept of zugzwang (any move you make results in a disadvantageous position, when “passing” or “losing a tempo” would let you hold a draw/win the game) there are a bunch that I definitely missed (because I suck lol), but the point is that there are many terms that you need to remember to read a chess book (though when commentating, it’s probably good to use plain language too)

I don't know why I'm sharing this but a few weeks ago I had a dream that I was gonna play at a professional Hearthstone tournament in Copenhagen with Wirtual. This is the Norwegian equivalent of when me and my buddy would go to the towny bar in Carbondale and put up quarters against the regs in foosball. We'd get womped on pretty hard, but when you're good it's fun to challenge the great.
I think I never paused an Agadmator game to find the move, I always just wanted to enjoy the show. But with Wirtual, I did pause AND find the right move. Great commentary!
