Fairy Lights - A Short Lesson on gathering market requirements before embarking on a Project.

We had some cheap fairy lights strung under my daughters bunk bed which simply stayed on. I thought it would be nice if they twinkled. My first mistake was not getting market research from the 'customer'. My second was not having a proper test 'bed' to see what the effect would actually look like. I used a single LED to test with which was way more subtle than the final product. I have some refactoring to do.
