The Last Knight is another term used as this was the final Transformers movie Michael Bay directed before they moved to family friendly territory with Bumblebee in 2018, and the upcoming TRANSFORMERS: RISE OF THE BEASTS.

@@jacktheflash8478hell yeah. I was 7 when the first movie came out , and then the next 3 were total events for me and the rest of the family.
Man it really sucks we didn’t get to finish the unicron storyline and I kind wished they kept the line in the trailer “for my world to live… yours must die” this will hit a lot harder of what Optimus is fighting for.
the new movie is redoing unicron and so far its better
I seriously do recommend Transformers Prime. It has less spectacle than the movies (obviously) and is technically a children’s show, but it’s one of those that’s fit for any age. Plus, the tv finished on its own terms I believe and so it finishes the entire story and even sort of finishes the story of the movies in a way. Everything about it makes it as good (if not better) than the movies imo. It shows the relationship between Optimus and Megatron, has great fight scenes, great characters, and is just fun to watch. So high recommend for anyone whose a big fan of the movies
Technically a kids show with bisections, decapitations, dismemberment, and the like.
I would even say that this show is better than the movies

I absolutely love the Autobot, Hot Rod since Transformers G1 movie. Also known as Rodimus Prime in 80’s movie.
Just so you won't be too confused for the next movie, Bumblebee is a reboot and basically a fresh start with some old elements still remaining!
I think its kinda awesome how much sheer, unadulterated *fun* Anthony Hopkins obviously has, playing Sir Burton, especially during the Car Chase. Dude is just having an absolute ball and I can't knock that.
the part where Prime gets the 5 man decapitation with one swordstroke is peak

I love when my childhood idol and hero Optimus Prime mercilessly executes his enemies, commits war crimes, and constantly says "I'll kill you!" it's really bold to have a sociopath as the protagonist
I always saw the movie version of Optimus as just getting worse as the movies went on because he had really bad PTSD from all the years of war and losing all his friends. It got especially bad after DOTM when his friends were all slaughtered by KSI before the events of AOE.
@@Gojirawars03 Sure, but it's not as if the movies frame it that way. He's basically always in the right, and his killings are framed as necessary and heroic actions, what with the music and cinematography that slows down the action to show us in intimate detail just how fully Optimus eviscerates his foes. It's not just him either. Several of the autobots say "I'll kill you!" like it's their signature catchphrase in this movie alone, many times. It's just very weird.

@@jordank4889 Granted, it’s a weird line that keeps popping up but the rest of his dialogue is pretty great.
I feel like this movie was all over the place, but the sound design, robot designs (Megatron in particular), music and cinematography were all fantastic. There were obviously issues with the script behind the scenes, and it held the story back from being a certified classic imo. I feel like it had the potential to be great.
I learned recently that Megatron was supposed to become a dragon originally. You can even see the dragon elements in his robot form. They didn’t change his model when they switched to a plane lol.
For a casual viewer of these films, I can’t tell you how happy I was as a tf fan 😊that you not only knew barricade by name but also recognized his upgrade. Respect.
Bay wanted leave on a cliffhanger for when someone new comes they can resume the story but no one has came in yet. Bumblebee was the start of the soft reboot with this newest movie carrying on from after bumblebee.

My favorite part of this whole movie was the WW2 flash back scene
I grew up in a two story house and i can say the heat rising and making upstairs a toaster is relatable.

i will defend the bay films with my life. DOTM is one of my favorite movies, 2007 is a classic, and AOE isnt as bad as most people say. ROTF has its moments but it has some pretty bad moments too. this movie tho..cant defend this lol

This Megatron is exactly the one from the transformers prime series.
Hot take: Bumblebee would defeat nemesis prime if the terrain allowed him to keep his distance more. Being a Smaller target with his just as much if not more firepower.

when i first saw this movie the start was confusing, i was like they got some game of thrones in my transformers movie
I think the last act really saved this movie. But cant lie say what you want but Michael Bay Cgi and fights/action sequences and music will forever be top tear.

Cogman is a Headmaster they cut the scene that shows him transform into a head and takes over the body of Nitro Zeus i think it is after Optimus Prime cut his head of

I like the film for what it is but never liked that they made Unicron Earth
9:08 the problem with Megatron here is he doesn’t transform like Galvatron did back in the last one. Megatron is basically a new bot that transforms like a regular transformer. That wasn’t a Dinobot in the background it was one of Quintessa’s minions. 10:58 Cade should’ve had one of the transformers seeking refuge with him to scan the chiefs cop car so the chief has extra help. 31:59 it was also he couldn’t believe that his way didn’t save the world that the “hobgoblin” stuff actually saved the world. The problem with the Bayverse is there was no continuity. They said that most the transformers were on earth for thousands of years but in the first one they just started showing up that only Megatron and Bumblebee were on the earth. Then the Bumblebee movie says that Bumblebee didn’t come to earth until 1984 but this one says he was in WW2.
Bumblebee is supposed to be a soft reboot that’s part of the reason

If TLK was a good movie we could’ve had more movies but Bay fucked up. If they want to continue the bayverse they should do it without him. I want to see Rise of the beast though 🔥
major redcon, Cybertron was destroyed in dark of the moon when they shut down the pillars and all got sucked in, if the story writers don't even remember their story they should re-watch their old creations or read the script

Even AOE had a lot of good continuity with the previous films.
This one… didn’t. Bumblebee and Hot Rod were apparently on Earth way earlier than we initially expected, and humanity has been secretly working with the Transformers long before the first movie? But nobody knew about it? Also Bumblebee hasn’t talked since Cybertron fell… except that time he talked at the end of the first movie? And his voice was completely different?
I hate to say it, but this movie was just… really dumb. It’s kinda no wonder this one was the one that tanked people’s enjoyment for the franchise.
Then again, I’ll honestly probably still take this over Bumblebee.
Anyway, obligatory part 5 of asking Primate to watch Transformers Prime.
Those FKCING aspect ratio changes really gives me headache.
As much as I dislike the major plot points and human characters of this movie, I’m glad you appreciate the great cgi and transformers actions/designs that still hold up, Primate! Watching this reaction made me enjoy this movie. Btw Barricade still remains the most underrated decepticon in these movies at least 💯🤟🏼

In raise of the beast unicorn is coming while in here unicorn is earth like she said so stories don't match, and in bee they did not come 2earth to search for the cube, another thing thst doesn't match
@@K-dawg26 new that i so raise of the beats mid credit scene to it confirms separate transformer universe and that they will do multiverse cross over in future, 1 deseptokon from that universe located sam when he bought bumblebee in that mid cred scene + GI Joes exist in raise of the beast universe, they are also have that job that sector 7 in this universe has, they do that job as well it was shown at the end, but they seem to want to meet the autobots to team up with them unlike sector 7 who treated them as enemy at first
it makes me think that they will bring sam back as well, it will have cons to the hole bays transformers universe

There's a fan project about Unicron which is a prequel to this movie but no official sequel is being made for this movie.
This movie felt sooo disjointed and just an editing and storyline mess. The way you cut it for youtube was better organized than the entire back-half. That said: Yup, some of the best action sequences of the whole series. Just for that though: youtube clips are more than enough rather than rewatching it. Shame.
This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The cinematography/camerawork hurts the eyes, it's impossible to follow the action, and it's obvious that Michael Bay just doesn't care anymore.

I really personally like The Last Knight because its very funny and total action packed along with last movies and I even liked it so much but the problem is somehow it gets reviews and they think this 5th film was terrible but for me I really love it personally but not too much some what because it didn't make much sense how but its very great and fine. I'm very grateful though for Transformers The Last Knight because it was good overall because of the remix version of 2007 theme in there with 2017 newer one. @Itsaprimate how ever you have the greatest reaction ever and its inspires me so much to hear. Even I saw Transformers The Last Knight after it was released in theaters and I watched it twice when it was on dvd I enjoyed it very much. I hope you're having a very fantastic future movie and shows reaction videos.
