This is absolutely the best of the best in HK classic romantic love story film, even at today’s standard. Can’t believe it’s been 34 years already! As depicted in this clip in a mere 4 minutes, the essence of the entire theme was captured without a word spoken. Just watching the two’s facial expressions, and the music, is enough to move you to tears. I’ve watched this movie over 20 times throughout the years, and it teared me up every time, without exception, when it gets to this moment. Really really love Chow Yun Fat and Cherie Chung, an irreplaceable pair in the Chinese film industry. And Cherie is an absolute beauty in every way!
the music is perfect soul of the movie, romantic , sentimental with strong nostalgic mood. When was young to view the movie at that time, thought it was very romantic and now watch again after decades, add another layer of nostalgic mood about those good old days of 80s mixing wiht restropect of personal life journey. This part is so powerful… 1. He was born in 1952. In today, 2023 - he would be 71 years old. And she would be in her 60’s. 2. Back then, there were obviously no cell phone numbers to exchange. You can see the desperation in him when he was running to catch the last glimpse of her. Because to him, the connection ends once she is gone - especially if she never calls again. Verse today, everyone has a cellphone and we are always connected. If these would happen today, a simple call on her cellphone would’ve kept the connection alive….but in pre cellphone error, it’s so different.
@@roycheersthat’s because his character was a stubborn person. He would’ve never show up at her front door steps. She was stubborn too but both did show signs of maturity towards to end. Her providing with an address was a “your move” deal. She wasn’t going to call either. But with todays’ age, technology can connect us at any moment, anywhere, and say - hey, let’s get a cup of coffee. If this movie came out now… it wouldn’t make any sense. That’s the beauty of this movie. Such classic.

2021, 今年45了,
當時電影上映時, 算一算才10歲,
上了國中.
班上有個很迷戀周潤發的女生.常常跟我滴咕說,這部戲有多好看. 多好看. 請我一定要去看.
懞懂的少年, 當時看後, 沒啥感覺. 不過..就是個愛情電影. ,
2004˜2007 年, 27˜30歲 台北工作, 女朋友外派紐約,
一年我就只能飛過去一次,
記得第一次去找她, 相約在34街的macy's 百貨櫥窗外碰面.
晚上9:30. 提著行李,看她從對街走來,
當時心中想的 紐約真的好遠. (真的有種,飄洋過海來看你, 存了半年積蓄 的體會)
陸續去了紐約2 ˜3次,
Long island, Brooklyn bridge, China town, 戲中的場景. 雖然時空過了20年,場景不像電影般的樸素,
但都有我跟她的足跡.
2007年, 她外派最後一年, 也是我去找她的最後一次
我回台灣班機的那天,盤算著隔年, 她4月春假就結束外派,
她卻泛著眼淚. 誠實的告訴我, 她的心, 已經走不下去了,
回台的班機, 默默的流著眼淚, 直到落地.回到宿舍才放聲大哭
這段感情的傷痛. 走了幾年, 才走出來.
現在. 我有自己的家庭, 有小孩, 但...我就再沒去過紐約了.
14歲時, 看不懂. 覺得那不過就是個編劇編寫的愛情故事
到了40來歲.
偶爾. 我會來這邊, 想念一下2007年的我.
還有那個,我不曾再見過面.
對我來說, 回憶停留在2007年的她
看完你的故事 我感動得熱淚盈眶 全身顫抖 我也不知道是為什麼
或者 我內心深處也有同感而不自知
感受到的兄弟。

经典的爱情故事，片子没有亲热的镜头，但令人刻骨铭心。2020年5月了，重温还是那么感人。
聽張婉婷訪問，佢話華埠太難得見有香港明星拍戲，逼到成條街都係人，仲好嘈，發仔好艱難先集中到精神。茶煲鍾楚紅坐陳百強的車開走了，船頭尺個表情由扮潚灑一直變到捨不得狂追，鏡頭一ＴＡＫＥ直落，全街人都靜哂，嗌ＣＵＴ，全街人拍掌。
咁純粹，咁少商業計算的文藝片，可一不可再了。當然都係運氣，發仔簽約時未出《英雄本色》，仲係舊價。但呢齣戲，亦係周潤發同鍾楚紅的代表作。

永远都不会过时的经典电影，这段绝对是港产片史上最浪漫动人的一场戏。
世上有一种情，介于感情和友情之间，虽近在咫尺，但触不可及。如花香淡淡，似月晖朦朦。演员的表演恰当好処，令人回味。
如夢如幻月；若跡若蘺花⋯⋯如花⋯⋯十二少的故事！
那種「比朋友親 比戀人疏」的關係，
「雙方都明白互有好感，但總欠了些什麼。」的感覺，
體會過的就會明白。

這就是配樂，永遠難忘
一直都覺得呢段音樂比歌曲更好聽（電影結束後出字幕時有放盧冠廷唱的＜別了秋天＞，和這段音樂是同一個旋律）但此時此刻的情感衝突之激烈，一切已盡在不言中，背景裡輕輕響起這簡簡單單的純音樂比起有人唱的歌更高一籌，只因這畫面早勝千言萬語，如加上歌詞反覺多餘，可惜了香港電影發行時似乎沒有順帶出Soundtrack（配樂原聲碟）的習慣，始終找不到電影中這段音樂來收藏！
每次看到這片段也讓人動容，思緒翻飛，想念故人舊事。

當年 周潤發 每天 一到達 現場， 便對 張婉婷 說 "又嚟跑步呀！" 😝
這部電影在台灣叫流氓大亨，第一次看就非常感動，前後約一年時間，整整看了約十次，還是百看不厭。
值得一遍遍賞味的港片。
記得喺飛機第一次睇，當時我仍在英國留學，故事好有同感，為何以前嘅電影可以咁多年都係咁有feel，而且我覺得套電影好厲害，係咁多年前都可以喺外地到攞到咁好嘅取景，真係拍得好靚！

Chung actually left her address on Long Island to Chow. Apparently Chow never tried to find her again and started a new life.
