    Wow - whitewalls and fins! But the surprise for me is the 315 HEMI. A Super Power Giant - one I had never heard of. Really amazing, and looks pristine.

    Thank you, admin! Its nice to finally see one of these sweptside videos where you have done your homework! So many of the other videos narrators don't know anything about it!

    As a Mopar guy this warms my heart. These are amazingly rare and this is an amazingly beautiful truck to behold.

    Really cool, several things seem like after thoughts, that fuel filler for one, the radio is another. None the less there it all is... offered by the factory. Thank you for sharing... Merry Christmas

      Yes, I have been to so many collections over the years, but for trucks this one really is mind boggling, and his knowledge of these vehicles is savant like.

    These tips on the features of this truck could easily be used for restoration of other Dodge trucks of the same period.

    I like how a 1958 ford f-100 and a dodge power wagon have very similar details down to the shape of the edge of the doors are the same

    Didnt know about poly and hemi!
    same block I rebuilt thre engine in my 63

      @denniswarren3211 Před 3 lety

      If I'm not mistaken I think the late hemi and the big block wedge engines are the same except. the hemi has an additional head bolt around each cylinder that can be drilled and tapped.

      Thanks Danny - this video shows how much some owners know about their vehicles. Marc Minarik amazed me with his knowledge and presentation.

    When I was a little kid, in about 1968 my Grandpa Maynard had a Dodge pickup truck that same color scheme fleet side and the double headlight set up that came on the 1958-1960. Flathead 6 with a 3 speed column shift! And me as a little boy called it the corn truck because we hauled corn with it to the feed mill 2b ground up for cattle grain! Remember it like it was Yesterday! 8/4/19 7.14 pm cst USA TRUMP 2020..

    gage cluster is ugly, 59 is much nicer. also it's 318 poly

    • @133dave133
      @133dave133 Před 4 lety +1

      It's actually a 315 poly. We have a 1958 Sweptside with the poly engine. They also made a Canadian version called the Fargo.

    • @larrydunlop378
      @larrydunlop378 Před 3 lety +1

      That's a Double rocker shaft engine, ie HEMI, You can tell by the wide valve covers. The poly is a single rocker shaft engine and the valve covers are Not nearly as wide as these.
