I built the flamethrower. My brother always joked that if I made one, he'd move to another country. I told him to start packing. I also made the mirror glasses. For those of you who want my tips on how to improve the design for that specific build, take the thin film off the back of the DVD pieces and put one on each side of the sunglasses. That makes them much more effective.

For anyone who thinks he committed a federal offense or broke the law by using a dremel on the quarter I would like to inform you that he has done nothing wrong since he is not trying to spend it after the fact
True, but I'd guess that the whole idea of a hidden spy blade is to have a knife that is inconspicuous and covert. That quarter is OBVIOUSLY modified, thus defeating the purpose. Don't you think?
Bohemian Monk the actual point and purpose of it is to have a blade easily concealed. It can be easily concealed and when placed with other coins would appear inconspicuous if the blade was faced away from the viewer. I do kind of agree though it’s not really a hidden spy blade, more of a unearned alternative.
I don’t think the federal law regarding defacing currency relies on the person defacing/damaging the currency spending or attempting to spend the currency. I also seriously doubt the government is interesting in pursuing a person on CZcams for damaging a coin with a Dremel Tool. 😂
Intelligence Agencies have modified coins with blades in the past. Some Custom Knifemakers still do. They’re concealed 50% of the time.
Hollowed coins have been used by both the CIA and KGB. Pretty sure the STASI did as well.
The CIA modified a Silver Dollar with a micro-sized drill bit with a pinhead soldered, welded or brazed on it so it resembled a sewing stickpin. Then the Techs put a point on it. The grooves in the bit assured there was enough Saxitoxin on it to be more than lethal.

This is great! for all those times I find myself captured by international spies who imprison me with my hands cuffed or tied with nothing but a lighter, a quarter and a syringe; and a Dremel tool, and rubber bands, and a hot glue gun, and a razor knife, and sandpaper, and a need to shave popsicle sticks... And of course, since I already have a DVD or compact disc with all the secret info encoded on it, I can carve that up to see blurry rainbow figures moving behind me, where of course they will already have the initiative. How could M send me out so prepared? Maybe J, or L even, but M at least gave me an Aston Martin and a Walther PPK. Bond. James Bond.

The problems are: #1 has a really limited field of view. It is better than seeing nothing but will leave many blind spots. #3 will take a long time to load and isn't really lethal, not to mention being hard to aim.
But they are all impressive. Especially #4. It's just amazing.
I made the first one and the solution is to put mirrors on both sides of the glasses and to take the thin film off the back of the DVD pieces.
i made all of those...
for the 1st one i used thin mirror instead of disc
for the 2nd one i sharpened the whole coin and used it as a shiruken
for the third one i used the dart gun so i can blow into it,it works better :D
and i made the 4th one a long time ago so no need to do it again :P

I wonder if a windguard on the striking lighter like a zippo would keep the flamethrower continually lit after intense bursts
I'm not sure exactly how the last one is super stealthy but it's something I haven't seen before that I kinda wanna try
The Flamethrower can be achieved using single lighter actually, just remove the metal plate on the front lift, the adjuster use it as a wrench to increase the fuel output then put it all back together. Pretty much you can adjust the flame using that method.
One shown here eats more fuel and it would probably melt the plastic lever if lit for too long. At least the one I mentioned, you can activate just like a normal lighter. Works well with a prank too

Looks like the force of the torch lighter is blowing out the pilot lighter.
Can you solve that with a piece of aluminum pop can? Cut a rectangular piece roughly ⅜" x 2½" and place it between the lighters allowing approx 1" to "run wild" past torch lighter nozzle. If necessary, adjust length of metal strip, or perforate the end of it to allow some of the gas to ignite off the pilot lighter.
you can make the flame thrower with just one lighter. just unscrew the tip a tiny bit. then when you light it it makes a beg flame just like this one.

You can turn a quarter into a knife with a dremel tool! Wow. Now I won't have to use my hands to separate the skin of a banana! I'll just spend a few hours sharpening the side of my quarter and I can use it in all sorts of weird ways. *thinking of all the fruit I can cut with my sharpened quarter*

Why a spy would want to cut popsicle sticks with a quarter ?
How are these spy hacks. 1 You can't hack real life. 2. You can buy glasses with mirrors to see behind you, You can buy a razor blade for very cheap and not everyone owns the tools to make a bevel on a quarter. The syringe gun would do nothing more than hurt a bit as its not even going through the paper very well, The lighter is cool and all but has no practical use.
