В Москве электо камаз, охотятся на пассажира в сквере, интернет как и везде в городе, отдельные кресла и колени не жмёт, салон длинный сидений немного.
Есть звонок чтоб прохожие поспешили к остановке, тепловая завеса немного шумная, в метро теплее.

Will they not receive the same paint scheme / livery as other buses in Riga?
This is not planned, at least for now. Green color is used for marketing purposes, to highlight that it does not use the fossil fuel to get around (like trolleybuses as well, but they will not be repainted into green :D ).

Список маршрутов постепенно пополняется, пока что они появляются на 9, 12, 18, 20, 26, 33, 47, 55, 56, 57, 63 (возможно, какие-то упустил).
They already tried hydrogen buses and gave up on them. I suspect someone siphoned off some money for the buses or the charging stations. The 5V charging socket is in diesel buses too.

Well... you are right! :D They are not fully electric :D They use diesel for the heating during winter, as it may be very cold here.
If I'm not mistaken, buses operate the entire day without charging, however, there are limits on where can these electric buses actually operate (not on all routes). When fast chargers will be installed, the electric bus route network will expand.

@@openbaarvervoer.6883 Good question. I am not a driver, but I'd say they are quite good (cannot say, which brand would be called the best). Riga has been using Solaris Urbino buses for more than 20 years now, in general we are satisfied. :) But that's about Solaris buses in general (mostly diesel buses).
Solaris Electric buses started their duty in Riga only in December 2023, so it's too early to tell. So far so good.

I dont know whats different apart from what substance they use for running. Looks like the same as white and blue ones, inside too. Just different color. Anything else?
The main difference that it does not use the fossil fuel to actually move around the city. There is an electric engine (and batteries).
These electric buses also use the cheap Rawag doors instead

Через пять лет будет статистически видно то, что можно просчитать уже сейчас- электротранспорт смог ездить на литиевых батареях, но цена у этого астрономическая. Батареи грязные в производстве, дорогие и тяжёлые. Медленно заряжаются- для сравнения заправка 50л топлива в легковушку в течении 1 минтуы, для такой же скорости пополнения километров в минуту, эквивалентно мощности электрозарядки в 12 МегаВатт (на одну такую зарядную станцию должно работать 12 ветрогенераторов или 1 блок ВВЭР-1000 может обеспечить 83 таких зарядных станции). Плохо работают в холод, ни где не перерабатываются толком. Через пять лет требуется замена батарей ценой в 1/3 нового транспортного средства. Это будет фиаско, но поймут люди это через 5 лет.
