Brilliant. Thanks for showing these wall ends. I like the idea of the shade and weather protection without doing the full enclosed annex.
When you put the guy ropes on the poles put a half hitch around the pole 6” inches down from the spigot then put the guy rope eye over the spigot. Holds the pole down and stops the eye from coming off in the wind when the tarp/awning/flap lifts in the wind.
I certainly do when at camping at the beach, long term or if I expect strong winds. Works well.
@@muzandcath yeah we are long time campers and we’re blissfully unaware of this until a few years ago when the guru at our local camping store set us straight😎

Hi Muz and Cath, is there a need to have an infill panel between awning housing and caravan to prevent water running down the side of caravan. My x15 has a 40mm gap and I'm thinking something should be fitted, similar to the infill you fitted above fridge. cheers Warren
We have a long piece of vinyl that stops water/rain from coming down the side of the van between the van and the awning frame. It came standard with our van.

Hi Muz and Cath thanks for a great video re the anti flap kit from Sunbuster. I have a Tanami X11 and you have solved my problem of anti flap and side walls. One question I have is that on the ends of the anti flap kit rails you seem to have a different spigot to the spike one that appears on the Sunbuster web siite. Is it a Fiamma F45AS spigot? What did you get to attach to that fitting to the awning?
I had to fit the receiver for the spigot myself but pretty sure it’s the same style as their CZcams video.
Muz - was the model Tanami X11 Hybrid Offroad Camper? there seems ti be a few on the market cheers
