1. There is more in Carlsbad than just Legoland and the Flower Fields (those are awesome, but there is TONS more)
2. Go to the windmill NOT just as a foothill
3. Don’t miss out on spending time outdoors
4. Come to the beach NOT just for sunset - go for sunrise
5. Don’t think you have to get sandy - go for a walk at carlsbad state beach walking path
6. It’s not just breweries, there’s cool wine experiences too
7. Go to the beach but not necessarily in the morning - wait for the fog to burn off
8. Do the Carlsbad Aquafarm tour and don’t be afraid to ask for more oysters!
9. The Carlsbad Food Tour is NOT just a food tour, it’s a history tour too! And SO cool! AND it’s different everyday
10. Fresco Cocina is NOT a Mexican restaurant, it’s Latin inspired! One thing not to do: don’t skip the cocktails and wine!
11. Don’t think St Michaels is just a church - they have jazz on Sundays and pickleball!
12. Don’t just go to the beach! Don’t miss the lagoons!
13. Don’t think Agua Hedionda is just a preschool - you can visit and learn more about the lagoon!
14. Don’t JUST come to the Carlsbad Flower Fields for the flowers - check out the events, food and more!
15. Don’t just think the Omni La Costa Resort is just golf! There’s so much more! Don’t miss the croissant waffle at The Vue and play pickleball

We were just there and stayed at a cute beach house in Oceanside. Went there to take the kids to Legoland and Seaworld. 💗
