Grand Pacific Palisades Resort Tour | Carlsbad, California

The Grand Pacific Palisades Resort is in Carlsbad, CA - approximately 32 miles from the San Diego Airport (SAN). The resort has an exclusive pedestrian Entrance to LEGOLAND® California Resort, borders The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch® and is near the Windmill Food Hall.
Some of the resort services and amenities include Wi-Fi, underground parking, a quiet pool, family pool and splash pad, fitness center, barbeque grills, laundry room, kids arcade, and outdoor games. There is an on-site restaurant, lobby bar and light housekeeping services.
There is a daily resort fee that covers use of the internet, parking, and use of the amenities.
We stayed in Unit 180, which is close to the main lobby, stairs to the parking garage and near the family pool and BBQ area. Our room was fully stocked with plates, cups, bowls, silverware, and kitchen appliances. We went to the grocery store to get some basic necessities like, coffee filters, dish soap and sponges. The unit overall was large, clean and in the perfect location for our vacation.
We did get a phone call about a welcome package and when it was picked up, we received an invitation to do a vacation club tour, which we declined, and we didn’t get any further pressure to attend.

I just checked out early from there yesterday, it's really gone down hill. Been a member since early 2000's.

Any beach views? Or how far from beach?

It's about 2-3 miles to a beach - you can see the ocean in the distance, but it's not ocean front at all. Hope that helps.

It is right across the street from Legoland - you can walk there.
