    Another benefit of suwari waza training is that it gives a different perspective to distance, and thus helps one to understand the importance of distance in general. Or at least so I have heard.

    ARIGATO GOZAIMASHITA for saying the WAZA in Japanese. I am trying to learn the names of the WAZA in Japanese, and how to pronounce them.

      Great. Some languages tend to change the Japanese pronunciation, such as in English, French, German, etc. Probably all tend to do that actually... Some schools try to stick to the original pronunciation which is great. In my native tongue, Lithuanian, it's actually not that hard since our pronunciation is similar to Japanese in some ways.
