I think the villains returning is like my favorite part. It’s so good. I felt so very happy to see them again it’s a wish come true.

I really love this ending, but one thing I feel like would've made it a little better would've been to see the Minions (Kevin, Bob, and Stuart) reunite with Scarlet and Herb after so many years. It could've been like a villainous family reunion 🥰💛💙

To my knowledge of Gru's Villains and who he fought in chronological order:
1. Scarlet and Herb Overkill were the first supervillains Gru went up against. And he was only a child, by looking at it. He just swiftly froze the Overkills with a blast of his Freeze Ray. And then Gru steal the Queen's Crown out of Scarlet's hands for himself.
2. The Evil 6 were the Second villains Gru went up against with the aid of the Minions and Knuckles. By using the Stone, he turned them into rats, somehow they were able to turn themselves back, but were eventually arrested by police soon afterward.
3. Taking place many years later, it's Vector. The son of Gru's Bank accountant, Vector is known to try anything and EVERYTHING he can to outsmart Gru. Stealing the Pyramid, Stealing a Shrink Ray, and attempting to steal the moon. However Gru beat him at the third plan and was faced with a price of being stranded on the moon for a long time. That until some space program found him and apprehended him.
4. El Macho, once thought to be dead to the world after doing a very deadly stunt: Riding a shark off a plane with 250 KGs of Dynamite strapped to his chest into the mouth of an active volcano. Until he hid as his Alter Ego; Eduardo. He planned to take over the world with the use of Gru's minions. But that fails and he is apprehended after being gased.
5. Balthazar Bratt, given the nickname Evil Bratt, was a former TV star until puberty and an unsuspecting growth spurt inflicted him. And he made a plan to send the ENTIRE city of Hollywood into space. That fails after his Mech he uses short circuits and he loses to Gru to a dance fight. Eventually he was Arrested by the Police with the aid of Gru and his brother Dru.
I hope that helps as a Chronological Order of Gru's villains.

I almost cried at this part as a 18 year old dude, these movies and villains were my childhood. I had a whole despicable me phase where I bought all the toys and watched the movies countless times.

I know. So far tai lung is the only one talking while Kai and lord Shen ha none and the ending feels really empty. But in despicable me 4, we got a full on reunion with everybody from every movie. The reason it felt great was the atmosphere of how the scene was executed. Heck that song also was a perfect banger for this scene.

The fact that herb and scarlet got only a few white hairs in like 50 years and in the minions movie scarlet was in her 40s, she’s 90 and still looks 50 lol

I can say this was probably one of the most epic reunions of all time because all the original villains from the previous movies have returned that makes 2024 for this year a season to remember and also in my opinion a throwback year

One problem about this scene, is that Scarlet, Herb, and the Vicious six, don't even look like they've aged 40 years than Gru. EVEN THE NUN, wasn't she supposed to die from old age? but nope, she's healthy and alive.
I mean, they’re probably gonna make the villains return in a future movie after seeing people’s reaction to them here. So the old villains need to still look capable even if they realistically shouldn’t be.
Scarlet and Herb were frozen so you could argue that they were frozen for a decade or so by the AVL, hence why they look younger than they should.
The V6 were transformed by the stone so it could be a side effect of that ig. 🤷
