    DaVinci Resolve is a video editing software developed by Blackmagic Design. Its most recent version is DaVinci Resolve which works on personal computers with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems.
    It combines professional tools to edit, color, compose visual effects, create graphic animations and mix audio in one program. Professional-quality audio editing, color grading, visual effects, and post-production.
    Its modern interface is extremely easy to use, ideal for beginners, but also very complete for professionals. In addition, the program allows you to carry out faster and higher quality work dynamics, thanks to the fact that it is not necessary to learn to use multiple applications or change software.

    Fantastic tutorial! Unlike most of the other channels producing Davinci Resolve tutorials, you actually mention how to make things visible in case they're not. That's where I often found other tutorials useless, because I got stuck. Thank you!

    Very well explained. Speed ramping is one of the things that keeps me using FCPX as the 'ramps' to make the transitions gradual are automatically applied, and the entire process can be very quickly done with a couple keyboard shortcuts. This still seems overly tedious when compared to FCPX, but I appreciate knowing that it's not as bad as I thought! Some of the UI is similar to how FCPX does it!

    • @SergiomotaENG
      @SergiomotaENG  Před rokem +4

      Hi Sky Makai! I agree, it should be possible to make the ramps faster in Davinci, without making so many clicks, hopefully they will improve them in the future.
      One good thing about Blackmagic is that he listens a lot to his audience and takes their opinions into account.

    • @JoeZhang

      in the latest Davinci update you can add keyframes with a shortcut, which greatly speeds up the process.
      You can try to copy and paste attributes, to copy the keyframes from one clip to another, (personally I have never done it, but it should work)

I want the sound track to stay in sync with the video so that when I come out of a speed ramp I can just raise the audio volume back up to normal and it will match the video. I cannot find how to do this, but it seems like they should have thought of it. I even tried locking the two tracks together.
