My father was a damn good musician, spent years learning and practicing flamenco, even played for live performing flamenco dancers, and I used to hear him practicing this song, night after night, year after year when I was going to sleep...
He inspired me to pick up the instrument and I've been playing for more than 30 years.
Then I see this magnificent, amazing performance by a brilliantly talented musician, not knowing or really considering his age until the end...
This is mastery of precision, technique, and style at a level most can never achieve, and all this by age 16 is stunning, impressive, and entertaining. I was more stunned to see 84 dislikes. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, sure, but wtf is wrong with people. Ending, schmending, scratching, smatching... Those who cannot do, become critics.

Buika is flamenco, this guy it's an impressive guitar player.
You can teach the patterns, you can execute them perfectly. But feel it, be it, it's not an execise style.

Those 1.3K dislikes are from people who well know that they will never be perfect in what they do, as this master talented gifted and unique musician does. Since his first audition in AGT I've watched all his performances many many times over and over again and I never get tired. Marcin is out of this world!!!

What he does has been done before. But the level at which he's mastered his art, is pinnacle.
A true master at a very young age.
It's a beautiful piece, but his playing removes some of the musicality and makes it a bit more of a novelty. Not to mention he changed melodic/harmonic structure for the worse. In my opinion.

@@WOGDOR We can agree to disagree. I find the original much more interesting, and a less gimmicky. He's an amazing talent, but I wonder at some point if he'll grow out of this shallow, flashy style. It's the kind of music I watch to be impressed, but I would never come back to it to hear a story that draws me in and consumes my emotions (the way the original did, in this case). Just my opinion, obviously many people really like his music.

Incredible performance for anyone, let alone a youngster of 16 years.
This is the only time I have tears in my eyes when someone plays the guitar, Marcin is a genius.
Its tough to name a guitarist that utilizes the instrument to its absolute potential at this level.
MARCIN REALLY KNOWS HOW TO BRING OUT THE BEST IN GUITAR PLAYING. IS THERE SOMEBODY WHO CAN PLAY LIKE THIS?
I can feel the pain he went through with his fingertips now as hard as Stone from hitting those steel strings and guitar board leaving bloodstains all over i have mad respect for this guy i find it hard to consider myself a guitarist compared to marcin

I graduated with a degree in Classical Guitar. My hat is off to this kid. He clearly has great mastery of the techniques of the original arrangement as well as musicianship and has further challenged himself and made it his own. No complaints about the experimenting at the end. Obviously emulating the great man who signed his guitar!

Literally could not take my eyes off this. Regardless of whether you think he went overboard with the percussion or not, you cannot question the energy and power in the arrangement. We'll be seeing a lot more of this kid I reckon in the future.
