- Marcin Patrzałek is an 18-year-old Polish solo guitarist, arranger, composer. Marcin is mostly known for his guitar arrangements and compositions which gather over 70 million of views online (combined views as of end of 2018). Marcin Patrzalek is the winner of TWO major Talent Shows - the biggest Polish TV talent show “Must be The Music” (2015) and the Italian TV Got Talent called: “Tu Si Que Vales” (2018) His music background began with classical guitar, which he started playing at the age of 10. He won many prestigious classical international competitions including the Joaquin Rodrigo Festival, winning over much older contestants. In the meantime, he became interested in flamenco music, studying it under the guidance of Spanish virtuoso Carlos Pinana. Shortly afterwards he discovered yet another style - Acoustic Fingerstyle After several years of practicing Marcin worked out a unique technique and style which ended up in developing his own approach to Percussive Fingerstyle. It extensively utilises percussive elements on the guitar body, sophisticated techniques and polyrhythms. The style Marcin plays is a result of combining classical, flamenco and acoustic fingerstyle techniques into one guitar - as well as influences from popular, metal, electronic and jazz music.

@@lifeisharditsharderifyoure6822 They've been pushing this guy too much since he was a kid. In that old clip where he plays Paganini, his rendition is actually full of mistakes, to be really honest. The other kids in the class clearly notice this and start exchanging glances. The idolizing mass that comments here only say "they're jealous of Marcin". But would you be jealous of a flawed performance that's getting more attention than it probably should? It's actually bad for the class and the overexposed student. A good teacher would've stopped this kid's and his parents' horses in time. It even looks like a serious case of "let's pay someone to get our kid listened to and f*** the rest of the class, they can wait and listen to our kid". I'd just ask some commenters to pay close attention to what they listen to and comment accordingly, in a more noderate manner. The problem is, now several of his classic piece covers and so on are covering the ugly natural harmonics his Steve Vai acoustic act inevitably creates with some electronic makeup. Limitations exist and we should never stop recognizing them as we humbly do our work. He should've been a shredder and should be working on his muting technique. Like Tina S did. She's another girl they were pushing too hard just for the sake of show and likes from the idolizing gullible. I remember our guitar teacher's opinion and the expert opinions after every audition or performance at music school: "yes, that guy played faster than you but his technique and sound left much to be desired and make no mistake: the other teacher did notice it and had a good impression of your sound. I do recommend you to find more challenging pieces for your repertoire, but never forget about the sound and technique. And don't be worried about the stuff the others play."

323 people gave this a thumbs down... I mean, I was speechless of this performance... then 323 thumbs down, I think I'm more in shock of that lol. I guess not everyone can appreciate an 18 year old young man that can completely melt an acoustic guitar.
I guess those dislikers were mostly classical guitarists likely deceived of the reaction of other people not entirely his im sure they thought he was great but probably thought it was overrated cuz of the techniques he used just sounded flashy (esp with the pedals and effects) and most people thought he made the peice or maybe they just dont like it at all but either way what techniques he used still sounded really epic and beautiful . whatever it takes to make something beautiful doesnt have to be all so complicated it could be just simple like a girlfiend of mine that will never exist :(

Wow, I first saw him in his Dr Dre arrangement and I thought "ok he plays extremely well but he seems a bit pretentious with all his facial expressions"
