    Google the effect of ballast on boat hulls. The worst thing you can do to the stability of a boat is add floats to the bottom. Just add ballast (weight inside the hull down low)

      @@donkeee785 I saw a bunch of videos where people added aluminum “floats” to the back sides of small fishing boats so I took the idea from that and yeah the floats didn’t really help 😆
      I ended up adding a ballast tank hull underneath the flat bottom hull towards the end of the video that worked ok. The issue was adding water would stabilize the boat but it also made it much too heavy to float correctly and maneuver with the weak motors.
      If I ever decide to make another one I have a way clearer understanding now of how the balancing works. Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it!
