Why is the media portraying this man as selfish? It's not just about the punishments they leave to others. For example, in the 2019 Atletico match, Ronaldo allows Dybala to use the penalty, but Dybala refuses. Why don't they love such a good person?

@@afi921 There is a saying that "exceptions do not break the rule". Juventus lost or drew in almost all games without Ronaldo this season. Most of the goals scored by Ronaldo are critical goals. Either goals that have brought a draw or have turned the match back.

There are actually A BUNCH MORE times he purposely let his teammates take a penalty to boost their confidence: he did it in Portugal for Postiga, he did it for Bale at Madrid (Im surprised you didnt include that in this video), he did for Benzema MANY times at Madrid, not just the one you showed, and others.

The fact is that Ronaldo gave it up, whether or not it was in good faith is another question entirely. Ronaldo has always been the main penalty taker in his later years in Man Utd and in Real Madrid. People just want to be ignorant. He's also the main free kick taker, but it doesn't mean he plays all free kicks. There are some he just gave up. Examples are Owen Hagreaves, Dybala, James Rodeguiz etc
