- Last year I was able to visit Santiago de Chile, home to what is easily the world's biggest Pokémon GO community. After nearly a year (and two months of quarantine) I finally finished editing some footage from the trip that gives you an inside look at how this massive community came to be.

I’m a 51 year old man started playing pokemon go to spend more time with my children you are the first person I ever subscribe to because of content like that you cover pokemon you cover the people you cover the location keep up the good work and thank you
Well done man. It’s AA great way to bond with the kids. I’ve done the same with my daughter and nephews
Niantic had better give these guys a safari zone or something after the pandemic is over!
How about a GO Fest!
as a chilean, I agree
@@Pipeblau if there is enough accommodations for 50k people, and it's safe enough, I don't see why they wont give you guys a go fest !
Amazing community 💪 Would love to visit in the future 🤩
Brandon you are the best
Hi BrandonTan :) I love your vids
I knew you would be here lmao
When the next video is coming.
Really want to see you come here so I can share a couple of Pikachus or whatever else you want, I really love your passion for the game and you would be a nice guest over here. Of course once quarantine is over.
Imagine if in every city there was a group like this....Truly amazing
Bruh ikr
We have something like that in Seville Spain
I almost don’t want to imagine the drama and the isolated players in that community, to think my discord community was pretty amazing and seeing this puts everyone’s community in perspective
Coffee Gaming I know right i struggle to even find 5 people to do a raid with me
This is an amazing video, i'm from Chile and seeing this video in this time of quarentine gives me nostalgia for playing outside. It's very different seeing your city in the eyes of another, i really liked the video!!!!!⭐
The way they spoke about healing and connection was inspirational. Really good editing on this! Proud to be part of this community, even from the small country Sweden 💯
I loved that part and I find it very true.
Proud to be in a pokemon go community in a small city in finland where no one raids anymorw
Hej jag är också svensk
SO CLOSE! I live in Argentina, and lately I did something similar I organized a discord for my neighborhood, and I've found 26 players near me! We make raids almost every day and I'm kinda proud actually. I stopped playing since 2018 and now I'm back, I hope I can get to experience everything I've missed!
A lot of ppl are coming bc including me i slowed down playing after gen 3
yeah! I started a little group in my area and over the course of 18 months we have about 150 members. I'm honestly so proud of it and all the friendships we've built up. It's so important in an unfriendly city to know people around you. I love it!
Are you all meeting in-person or doing remote raids? Here in the States with quarantine, it's hard to organize raids.
Marcus Lambright We do remote raids, sometimes we purchase poke coins If it’s an important one
@@vicentediaztrepat2585 Nice. It's a desert here in central Jersey. Only solo raids for me. Catch a Virizion for all of us lol.
Love this! Chile deserves a major kick ass safari zone once this pandemic is over!!
A whole community of pokemon go players
My town: me myself and i
I was a bit concerned with that thumbnail for a sec..
Same 👁️👄👁️
😷
E36 Panda same!
Wow I didn’t even think that til I saw this post lol
Absolutely beautiful community ❤️ I can't wait to visit one day! 😊
can't wait to have you here!
It was very interesting watching the the edit over on twitch. The finished video is great - as always.
The result is amazing... Nick really looked as if in trouble at times 😂
The video shows how important Pokémon go is to people not just as a game but a way to interact and meet people. Last year a friend of mine got married to a guy she met well out doing community day back in 2016
Well done! What a crazy community. I wish every city was like this.
Just like back in 2016
I wish I had enough people to do 5 stars raids
hermoso video bro. gracias!
I love how we see more and more plants in the bg of Nick's apartment in each video.
His appartment must be huge.
I have a one bed appartment that is so dark it looks like midnight at noon and has so many streetlights shining in it almost looks like noon at midnight. I had a pot of chives in the most well lit area of the appartment and watered them when needed. They died within a month. Those chives lived the longest by far of any plant I ever had in my appartment. Dill weed lasted 2 weeks.
Now I am in an efficiency that has much better lighting, but only for a month or so until the water damage gets fixed in my one bed.
What a brilliant community! This really shows what Pokemon GO is all about, connecting 2 or more strangers, with the same love for Pokemon, that ultimately end up becoming friends. What a beautiful thing. Thanks for making this video and highlighting this determined and inspired group of people!
This video made me realize the vital role of organizers in uniting the community. How they put all their hard work into this game. Salute to all organizers! Thank you for this, Nick. 😊😍
Happy to have been part of the editing process 💜 Love this video nick!
This is incredible. Thanks for putting this together Nick. Talking about using technology to connect with your neighbor, to heal, to use it as a tool to reconnect with people. So inspiring.
I actually helped along with the translactions for this vid and I'm so grateful for being in Nick's video, even if it's for a frame or two in the form of subtitles. Nick, I'm a huge fan since day one, I've been following you and your work since 2016 and I'm really proud of you and this channel. Keep up the great work!! All the love from Brazil
I mean, hundo’s are hundo’s. And we want them. Hard to blame them, really.
True
Finally a good video like old ones.
i caught a hundo skarmory earlier today
A hundo is a hundo, no matter how far
Willem Neuefeind Lessig and it’s good cp for great league
Why does nick not have 1 million subs yet??? Cmon guys we got to get him there! ☺️👍
this is so wholesome....hard not to watch and get a smile on your face. Thanks for sharing Nick
This makes me so happy. Its so awesome seeing so many players just having fun and being friendly while playing Pokemon Go
Really well put together Trainer Tips.
Great to see so much positivity come from the game. Organizers go above and beyond... Bravo 👏👏👏
10/10 on how you interpreted everything. Most people translate but you gave the right interpretation and translation. Amazing job
This is awesome, Nick. Great job covering this. Great video as always. from NYC.
That’s so awesome! Love how the game gets people together! I have re-discovered the game last year and i’m hooked! And it is the community that makes a difference! ❤️
Woah. That is mighty inspiring, big love to Chile!
I love your typical content, but this was something much greater. I would love to see more of Chile specifically, but when the world heals I want this from every place you visit. This sense is almost more special than your usual quick turnaround videos because it's so much deeper than just the game and some B-roll, albeit you shoot great B-roll. But, I think you have stumbled upon the next great project in the affect of Pokemon Go globally. Well put together, nice voiceover and great editing! I don't know why this struck me so much but I absolutely love it.
Nick, I love it when you make videos like this one. Thanks for finding time to edit and post it. Keep up the awesome work!
Nick, if I ever meet you I´m going to give you a huge, this video put me in tears, the insolation situation is really hard but thinking about see my friends, going in raids and running for a 100% un a comunity day again gives me hope, amazing video!!!
Love the video Nick! It's really nice to see a big crowd of players just having fun with one goal which is to catch em' all! More power to you and the community in Chile!
This came out awesome Nick, seeing all of the footage you had and the end product, made this an even better experience!
I love when you do this style of video. It’s very thoughtful and shows a lot of love for the people and communities.
I'm not from Santiago, but I'm my Pokemon Go community where I live we are all well aware of how big the community is there. It makes me proud to see how many people plays Pokemon Go there, and the fact that the game makes you meet new people and live new experiences. Really hoping when things came back to normal Niantic take this video as a consideration for a Safari Zone for Santiago de Chile, and if that happens I'll be there playing! Great video as always Nick!
This video is very sweet. Good job Nick. Going through a lot being forced to get off of my epilepsy meds due to not being able to afford them,as caused by the quarantine. It's an extremely awful experience. Waking up to seeing such a positive video was really wonderful. I know this is probably TMI. Just wanted to let you know you helped my day be a little better.☺️
So inspiring. It was so nice to see that sense of community right now with everything going on in the world. Thank you for sharing this.
Damn, Nick... This gave me chills. I want to thank you so much for making this mini documentary, not just you but the Pokemon Go community really inspire a lot of people to follow their dream, you are a hard worker and always giving the most out of you on every video, I'm sure that a lot of us thank you so much and admire your Work.! Its been awesome to watch you throughout the years growing so much.! Cheer mate
This video is so amazing! Well done to you Nick and all the PokestGo Community!
Thank you for showing the strong community that we have here in 🇨🇱, really proud of these guys who joins people around a game.
Omg I’m from Santiago and it makes me so proud to see our community being showcased here. Thank you, Nick. The video was amazing and when all this pandemic thing is over, we’d love to have you in Chile again.
Incredible editing as always. Thank you Nick for your contribution!
It's awesome seeing my community portrait so well. I have met amazing people while playing. CD and raid days are awesome to just play with friends (and meet new ones). In Stgo we have like 4-5 ish spots were people can play, being Parque Forestal one of the biggest. Sometimes though it's kind of difficult to move with so many people there
What an absolutely inspiring group of people. I really love their passion!! 💖💖💖💖💖 And you’ve presented this community so very well, Nick, thank you!!
It was so interesting to see this video's edition on twitch. It also makes me love the final product even more, like I saw it "grow up" haha You are very talented Nick, congratulations on another excellent video.
this video really warmed my heart. muchas gracias Nick!
Thanks for doing this video Nick , i'm a huge fan from chile and this was so much fun to watch and finding myself in the video😂
Nick, I've watched a couple of these documentary-styled videos and they're honestly my favorite videos from you! Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks for a fascinating look into yet another international Pokemon Go community. Great vid!
Love the video Nick! What a legendary community
Amazing! people in my country have a lot to learn from Chile. STGO - you are a fine example of how a PoGo community should be.
Amazing community! Great video Nick
Amazing vídeo Nick! I'm from Chile and the community here is insane and really passionate. I hope we can get a safari zone someday
Ojalas wn pero nicagando jajskah
I was u aware of the community in Chile. It’s very impressive thanks for showing us this. I like what they have done and their organization and what they said about how technology has helped them communicate in the community better. Good video!
This is honestly amazing to see. Pokémon is so revolutionary in bringing everyone together it warms my heart so see things like this
Yessss great video! I miss your travel videos soo much!
-Much love from Maine!!
Awesome video Nick! Content like this is why you're my favorite PoGO CZcamsr!
Having watched you working on this on Twitch... I have to say i AM amazed of the result. Awesome video. A year later, you captured the emotions from All your material into this. Keep up the work Nick. Like your Mew and Celebi series... Its about so much more than just chasing pokemon. Lets Hope we can soon get out there and explore together again. 💓
I've missed this kind of videos so much!!! Thank you!
Love to finally see this video. And being part (in a very small part) of editing on twitch.
What an amazing group of dedicated trainers. This is truly heartwarming to see. Way to go Pokestgo. Would be amazing to participate with such an awesome community.
This is a fantastic video, Nick. I really miss your travel videos just as much as I miss travelling myself.
What a great video !!! Thanks for finishing and sharing ❤️👍🏼
Awesome video man, makes me want to travel to Chile. Looks like a Go Fest, but ever raid day or Community day! Looks truly special!
Great to see. Keep up the great work, Chile!!
I would love to see more throwbacks like this one. Maybe like a series with 5 or 6 episodes. With your best moments of your journey as a trainer so far. Love you're channel and hope to see you back in Germany soon.
I follow Swaggron333 here on youtube and wachted when you were the special guest on Santiago, but the way you get the soul of this Group is unique, special. Thanks for making this video to see how you see it, thanks.
This has to be the best video you have ever made.
I love this video about the community. I miss going out in NYC and chasing Pokémon with people
Man it was weird to see people so close to each other.😃 Love your travel videos. These videos always ignites the desire to travel. Chile looked like a chill place
That guy Matias seems like an outstanding dude! I love the way he expresses himself about the community and you can clearly see that he has an immense passion for it. Kudos, my man! The community from El Paso, TX has a lot to learn from you guys.
Damn. I miss home. I'm so glad that Pokemon go in Chile is thriving. When I go back I wish to meet everyone there.
Que tengan cuidado, mantega sus manos limpios y que see cuidan.
This is the heart and soul of Pokemon Go right here, the community. Thank you to those admins and thanks to you Nick for showing the world what they do
Awesome video mate. Loved it.
It was so cool to see on Twitch how you made this video. Keep up the good work man.
Absolutely incredible video!!! This video makes me sooo upset that I can’t go raiding with my friends and my community right now, but either way I truly hope this video reaches people who have never heard of or played Pokémon go and gives them the courage to make or join a community like I have done.
This is a mirror to the past... it's beautiful. Muchísimas gracias desde Santiago!
So cool! Seeing the finished project ❤️
Great video! Well worth the wait. I miss the vibe of traveling and being active with pokemon go
So inspiring. Thanks for making this video.
Finally! I knew it was only a matter of time until you put one of Ben’s songs in your videos!! Next will probably be one of Luttrel’s newest songs! Kept up the great content man. Glad you could get around to uploading this ‘classic’ style of video. ✌🏼
Audio and video were edited very well. Nice job!
Really enjoyed the vid! Thank you
This was so professionally done! Awesome work Nick! It feels like watching a documentary in Netflix!
Que buen video hiciste viejo, muy lindo todo y es muy real. Básicamente esa es la idea y fin de pokemon go, juntar a la gente, pasarlo bien y socializar. Un abrazo desde Chile para todos los entrenadores! 💪⚡
This video is so beautiful. Blessed Pokémon came into existence and the positive impact it has on millions of people around the globe ❤️
I cried the whole Video! Great Video and great people in Chile!
Excellent vídeo =) thanks for this motivation.
Thanks Nick, really uplifting mini-doc. I love the idea of Pokemon Go being seen as 'technology that can connect you to your neighbours as well as the wider world.' Keep it up.
I loved watching your editing process on Twitch. I use to edit videos but now I have no time unfortunately. It brought me back to good times. Please stream more edits if you enjoyed it.
This video just brings back so many memories of how much I miss travelling, and I will always remember my trip to Montreal for Safari zone last summer when I met you
Keep up the great work Nick, good vibes always 😁
“We” did great!!!!! Absolutely nailed the thumb nail!! Great to see the finished product !! 🥳🥳🥳🥳
Thanks for this. Never knew it was that strong in Chile. One of the guys said he played for the first year and reconnected after a year making friends in the process, that was totally relatable.
I moved to Japan last year, I live about 30 minutes from Shinjuku. A lot of people here still play Pokemon Go, the difference is very few people are communicating or in groups. During community day you get a lot of people walking around in silence looking down. I've tried to get more friends or trade with what Japanese I know, but people are usually just shocked someone approached them. I'd love to be a part of this huge group effort!
Que vídeo incrível!! Bom trabalho TrainerTips.
Parabéns à comunidade Chilena. Show!!!
Saudações do Brasil!
Amazing video! It shows the real meaning of playing Pokemon Go: to have fun.
I love this video. Excellent work
I hope after this quarantine is over and everything goes back to normal. That the hype goes back like when it came out and millions played
