      Magnus can play multiple games in his head at the same time. Seeing clearly where his pieces can move isn't "helping" him. It helps normal players, but Magnus isn't a normal player. Lol to the thought that the world champion gets help by the program showing him where his pieces can move. Bahahaha. The dude can visualize multiple chess boards simultaneously... that feature isn't helping him at all.

    One thing I learned in chess is that taking out the most powerful pieces don't mean you'll instantly win the game. With good positioning,trades you can win a game even losing every powerful pieces.

    Dude, I saw you playing in Lichess titled arenas when you were in a van using mobile against speed demons like penguin, alireza, rebeccaharis, 100% barserk against FMs, IMs and GMs in a 1 minute game, king-queen switch (new bong cloud) , moving 1 knight to give them 7-8 free moves and many more.
    This game was a so NORMAL to me.

    Was his queen actually trapped tho? He said if Queen f5, white plays bishop g4. Can’t f6 knight take if that’s played? after that the queen is free to leave on that diagonal now that that whites light square bishop is gone

      no, Qf5, white pawn G4, queen forced to move G6, Ne5 takes the queen, Carlsen retaliates with one of the 3 pawns and gets doubled pawns. he loses queen anyway but doubled pawns is worse

      Best in the world!!! PPffffftttttttt!. I hate watching the end of pro matches. They give up too early. It is like their ego says, "I am done. I see it", but in reality, they may have missed something that they would have found,---if they played the game out till the King tumbles. It's like real life in the world. They don't take the damn king out and a new war just starts right back up again. :)

      @@EarthSurferUSA No, Qf5 meets g4 loses even more material than giving up a queen for a rook. Pros know what they are doing, it's why they resign.

      @@gmatsue84 Yea, maybe, probably. But if they missed something and resign, well, they will never know if they could have won the match. Pro's are human also. If I were in that position, I would not shake their hand and make them finish it out. Maybe nobody does that, because they understand it might bite them. I just don't like resignations.

    4:06, look at the tower at the bottom, he could take that to D8, while the opponent would take the farmer that's between the queen and his springer (the tower that can only go oblique) which after that, he could take that springer with his own, while the queen can't take the springer because of the tower at the bottom.
