DJ Jenö has remained one of San Francisco's most beloved and sought after DJs for over two decades. Developing a passionate love for music from an early age he spent several years as a punk musician & songwriter, before discovering djing and falling into the vibrant London warehouse party scene of the mid 80s. Once Acid House fever hit the UK, Jeno never looked back, becoming known for his heady Whoosh parties, and his involvement in the early days of the notorious Tonka Sound System. I caught his act at 1015 Folsom in 1994.
I heard this from a friend on a cd in the mid 90s. It's one of several that really got me into this music, with my very limited experience of live events, but at least went to about 5 awesome raves. My early top cd collection was this, doc martin: unlock your mind; carl cox: the sound of ultimate bass; simply jeff: funkdafried; mark farina albums.
@@danielbaggett2756 Was talking about this series not this specific one. Kimball Collins,Frankie bones,Josh wink, little Louie Vega and the Murk ones. Wish I still had all that old shit. Too much moving around,ex gfs, drugs etc. I will be 50 next year,so lucky to survived and experienced the OG underground
From the start of the CD to about minute 9:31.....gaawwwwdaamn! About the most intense start of ANY mix cd I've ever heard and my stacks go a couple hundred CDs
you dont think for a prerecorder mix. that was going to possibly make him big. he didnt already select the tuned b4 hand. the begining is just a bit of a key clash. but the rest of the mix is so good. it doesnt matter
I agree I've heard far worse, you want garbage go listen to BROILER ROOM! it's like if you spin a record your in and I've heard far more garbage on there then this! actually this mix wld kill most of them, that's how terrible that channel is!

If you want the house sound of SF in the 90s, it's locked in Simon's "Two Crates". :) DJing was very much about style in the scene back then.

My God Thank You! I had this album in 97 or 98 and it's still one of my favorites of all time! But of course it was stolen from my car.
