Be sure to let me know which bits of media scared YOU as a child
Bard from Baby Mozart Scared Me.
was anyone else scared of that scene in Toy Story where Sid had sewn the head of a pterodactyl toy onto a doll?
Off-topic, but I bet you know the Mr. Men since you're British. Well, I'm British too. And I know lots of Mr. Men and Little Misses.
@@averagelittlelulufanthe Mr Men were absolute legends
@@bardthenascarfanaticdragon the finger fish puppet from baby neptune used to scare me when i was a baby.
The freaking troll from Earnest Scared Stupid... that thing was the bane of my childhood.
Especially when he saves that kid climbing up a cliff and uses Earnest's voice only to jumpscare the kid and turn him into a little wooden statue.
Oh yeah, the beta Luigi face, that creeped me OUT!
The jumpscare of the monster house scene scared me aswell and I was frightened to even press play on the dvd menu
2 years later I can’t go back to this video
I like to imagine that my audio quality has improved significantly since this video 😂
8:12 I was expecting that zombie jumpscare car commercial.
To be fair, that did terrify me as a kid. Here’s a funny story with that…
My cousin and I often make silly little videos together and for one of them we wanted a clip of a car driving to slot into the video. We did a bit of searching and found THAT video and we were watching it thinking it was perfect and then all of a sudden RAAAWR!!! We both had the living daylights scared out of us 😂
Yo man! Love the editing
Thanks for the compliment. If you like my style then you’ll probably love my more recent video as it’s a lot more refined and the audio quality is better
That cat beast from 9 scared me alot.
15:38 I’m glad that I’m not the only one
I remember as a kid, I used to be scared of the image of a snake. Literally in school I remember we got a worksheet with different animals, and there was an interesting mage of a real life snake, and I had to cover it up cuz I hated it so much. As for other things, a couple of Doctor Who Series 10 episodes like Knock Knock and World Enough And Time scared me when I first watched them. I don’t think I got scared lots as a kid 😂
Also great video
When I watched Casino Royale (the 2006 one) it had the “piracy is a crime” advert at the beginning and brought so much nostalgia from the mid 2000s
I remember seeing an episode of Elmo’s world and a Tornado shows up. I was traumatized by that tornado for years.
For me, it was the ending of Monster House... and the twist at the end of "Michael Jackson - Thriller"! :O
Glad I’m not the only one who was scared by Monster House
Also, gotta love the Michael Jackson Thriller
the nickelodeon 2008 lightbulb used to scare me big time when i was a child, why? because of the laughing kids effect. i remember having nightmares of the nickelodeon 2008 lightbulb randomly popping up on tv, and that's why i refused to watch nick jr and nickelodeon shows for some time. i eventually overcame my fear by looking up logos on the internet, and i was still scared of the logo when i saw it on youtube. and also, the only time that the nickelodeon 2008 lightbulb didn't scare me whenever the laughing kids effect was replaced by the end theme show. end of story!
Because I never watched Nickelodeon, I had to look up the lightbulb on YT just now
My goodness, that IS terrifying! WHY ARE THE LAUGHS SO AGGRESSIVE!!!???
Ah not gonna lie I can understand why you might have been scared by these parts of media when you were younger lol. Not gonna lie the Polar Express scene also absolutely terrified me as a kid, and I would usually either walk away from where I was watching it or just close my eyes. Also the spoonheads that you showed when you were talking about Doctor Who actually looks scary to me for sure. 😳 Especially since I've never seen it before. Well to be honest I think your list here would be really similar to mine I'm guessing. Although I actually don't have any other scary parts of media that I was scared of when I was kid that I can think of as of now. Well regardless I definitely really enjoyed watching this video. By the way Happy Halloween! 🎃❤
You have a cute teddy bear
That one episode from Sesame Street where Snuffaluffagus was making or eating a giant meatball until the meatball rolled off and there was one frame where the meatball was rolling forward and I ran from the TV. My Mom keeps saying that I thought Snuffaluffagus was going to jump out of the TV, but my experience was that I thought I had to be Indiana Jones and run from a giant meatball that has the capacity of crushing anyone in its path, similar to a Boulder. I just didn't have time to get squashed into a road pizza on that day because I had my whole damn life ahead of me
For me it was the back of the live action teenage mutant ninja turtles DVD case bro💀💀💀
My numbed 1 childhood fear was Darla ( the girl with the braces) from Finding Nemo. I'm not joking.
Fair enough. I mean the goddamn Psycho theme is used when she enters the office, she’s clearly meant to be a little scary (from the fish’s perspective)
@@JAProductions494I also used to be scared of this scene towards the beginning of Jim Henson's Labyrinth where it shows all those goblins hiding in the closet. Ironic since for one thing, it's played for laughs, and for another thing, Labyrinth is my all time favorite movie.
6:36-6:42 Kids WB Screen Bug
For Doctor who when I first watched it my first story was love and monster and I was scared of the main villain. For movies I’m gonna say Harry Potter and the Prisoners of Azkaban it’s when ever Sirius was in his dog form and peaking out of the bush at the beginning of the movie and when lupin turns into a werewolf. For video games it was lego lord of the rings because I was scared to put it on to night time and I can probably blame Minecraft for that I think.
For me its was salad fingers happy tree friends squidwards suicide picos school suicide mouse avi omega flowey giygas and courage the cowardly dog
Yeah… watching them at an early age would terrify anyone
Also vibingleaf made squidwards suicide and suicide mouse avi more scary
I love them now that I'm grown up, but yeah I found wallace and gromit horrifying growing up, even the robot. I remember staring into those uncanny eyes on the VHS cover...just staring into those blank....eyes...
also Isle of Dogs is a really good movie, I wouldn't call it creepy at all
I will definitely watch Isle of Dogs at some point
I can’t watch it anytime soon though as I am aware that there is a sushi scene and I genuinely can’t watch anything like that as I recently watched Padak and trust me, I have a reason to be so hesitant to see anything related to sushi making
@@JAProductions494 im just saying, its not a scary film, maybe a little sad but that's it.
Are you also scared of Rex's roar from Toy Story
Somehow I wasn’t 🤷♂️
@@JAProductions494 Why not?
No idea
I’m weird ok
Rex's Roar Never Scares Me. Also, I Find it Really Funny!
@@dravenjorden2421Used too. But now it's funny
