Francisco, has tenido alguna reparacion o reemplazo de un engine block for a DD13?
Did you get the engine block re-machined? The cam housing I heard is made of aluminum and the camshafts run directly on the cam housing is this this true? iF YOU HAD A CHOICE to rebuild an engine for yourself what would you choose and isx 15 or a dd15? Many people say the dd15 is a throwaway engine. Great videos keep up the good work.

2018 cascadia dd15 have fuel systems problem detected and the code is spn 1328 fmi 31 .what you think how much it will cost me to fix it. Freight liner dealer give me estimate for $22k .
Great content and info Amaya!!!! I got a 2015 cascadia with around 870k on it. I've been calling Detroit around my area (Florida) and they have quoted me with a stage 3 rebuild for around $40k. I'm wondering of that's accurate? That includes everything you mentioned along with new push rod's, cams, air compressor, fuel pump, turbo egr cooler ect.
I admire your intelligence in mechanic's. Not very many individuals with your passion nowadays.
Ask them how much a swing engine costs.

What!???I've done that to my cascadia plenty of times.....It still drives fine...lol
Driver was going down a mountain In Arizona and try to down shift but down shift to wrong gear so engine rpm over speed and engine grenaded

Why not just put in a new engine instead of fix it for 27k
New DD15 is around 50K
59874 dollars to replace with a new engine at my local Detroit shop. They were cheaper then the freightliner dealership. I’m getting a in frame done for 23500

Sounds like the owner wasn't much smarter then the driver - The owner was the idiot who hired the dumb driver ( cheap help ) in the first place - 27k for a 2013 throw away truck rebuild was not a sharp investment

He did on previous videos driver drove downhill with very high rpms he melts the engine
