That was a small amount of Ayahuasca and he would have had a mild effect from it. Normal trips last like 8-10 hours if it was a full on trip. This substances has been used around the world in many ancient civilisation, from the Egyptians to the Mayans. Quite interesting on how it was discovered as well, since we have our own inhibitors to cancel out dmt when ingested so they found another plant that can cancel our own inhibitors when making the tea. Very very interesting

I accidentally took 5 tripstacy thinking it was mushroom caps. Fair to say my friends didn't help with my 5 hour meltdown of "this room is way too quiet. This room is way too loud" Eventually people just let you go and look after you because they feel so bad. Don't take trips kids.
the shaman didn't give him enough! low doses are mostly physically uncomfortable, like a giant buddha is sitting on your chest. A higher dose would have totally blown his mind.
Also what Hamish and Andy have done here is super disrespectful to the indigenous Peruvians. They actually have a direct connection with their "God/s" unlike almost every other religion and you just went there to half-ass the experience, hardly talk about it at all, and just make a huge mockery of it in general. Respect lost.
