  • Hello again! This is a new tutorial showing you how to setup the Exodus desktop wallet for the first time and link it to your Trezor Hardware wallet. We also go through all of the major features the wallet has to offer. There is an update coming to the desktop wallet next week so if there are any major changes we will do a second video. Thanks, and as always leave a comment down below if you have any questions.

      As long as you have your private keys that you stored away safely after originally setting up your Trezor, all you would have to do is buy a new device and recover your wallet using that key. All of your funds would be recovered.

    • @RBMCrypto

      Hey Dominic, the recovery seed and password is only for your Exodus Wallet even when you connect your Trezor. It only allows you to sync and access your Trezor device when you plug it in.

    I'm new to this so is probably a silly question but I have noticed the wallet for exodus is all digital how do you convert that into real cash into your bank account.

    • @RBMCrypto
      @RBMCrypto  Před 3 lety

      As far as I know, you can only purchase on Exodus using USD on the iOS app, swap between and hold digital currencies on there. If you want to lets say sell in to US dollars, you would have to send your funds to an exchange like Coinbase, sell into US dollars and e-transfer or wire to your bank.

      The private key that you write down when you setup your device is all you need to recover your funds if you were to lose your Trezor. Simply, you would buy a new Trezor then you would select "restore wallet using private key" and all of your funds would be on the new device.
