What I like about this video is you actually show that you make spill with the Fyreslayer Flesh and in the final shot you wouldn’t even know
A good tip with panel lining is painting over the recess with water. Then going over it with your DARK contrast paint. Due to the hydrophilic qualities of contrast, it’ll leave the brush and settle in the areas with water in the recess.
Voila! Easy panel lining.
There's also that Asian panel lining agent for Gunpla.
I love how simple it is. And you can always add details. It's just a really great, quick, and cheap way to get a painted figure on the field.
if you are painting these but some XV-88 under the tau ocre its a layer and will be a bitch without a base coat under it
You make it look and sound so easy!
I never knew how much highlighting actually done to my models thx 🙏🏻
I want more T'au! You're work is amazing and has helped me out with my army. Instead of the brown contrast I went with Black Templar!
Cool! I'm afraid that's it on the T'au for now!
You just helped me figure out what colours I need for my army🤘🤘🤘 thank you! Great video!
Love it! Now I Need Violra and Sec'ea :)
Check my Ghostkeel tutorial for vior'la - will hopefully have Sec'ea up soon
@@ThePaintingCoach dammit was hoping for a short on Vior'la lol
Check the Ghostkeel haha - short would he identical in technique :)
Good shit man, great content
For the T'au Va.
Can't wait for the Tau Oct guide. Nov's color scheme's are pretty nice, too.
Awesome
Cheers
50th like lol 👍 good job thx
Thanks
Crazy!!!😮😮
Love it!!!
Cheers
Great idea, keep them coming
Cheers Tom
More tau please
Tomorrow hopefully
If you make a mistake - use a wet brush immediately and soak up the paint - will soak right up if done quickly and repeatedly 5-10 times in the space of about 15-30 seconds
Thabk you so much I needed this!!!!
Glad it helps!
Never noticed how messed up tau feet are until watching this, now I can't unsee it🤣🤣
Awww I never knew the tau were so squat. The lil fella is cute
Short for tha greater good lmfao
Im a nids player, cant relate hehe
Looks awesome are you going to do any blue colour schemes for tau ?
I am going to do the main Septs - so keep an eye out as some of them are blue I believe
@@ThePaintingCoach nice I have a tau empire commander that I will probably paint using your tutorial
Sa’cea
Are you able to do borkan sept?
I probably won't have chance soon - maybe in the future
Do you think you could do a detailed version of this scheme?
Possibly in the future 👍🏻
what about the box art white ones??

Quick question if you have time, what brushes do you usually use?
W&N Series 7 - size 1 and 0 👍🏻
Hi, what is your brush size and pile type?
I use size 1 and 00 from Rosemary and Co, Series 33. I tend to use the sorter bellied 323 for detail work
@@ThePaintingCoach Thank you very much
Is it worth getting primer for my models?
I think so
What kind of paint/ techniques is that
Acrylic 👍🏻
Nice even though the tau cant melee
And yes I know that joke
Do you thin your paint before use?
Touch of water on a wet palette
Did you not use Tau Ochre?
I used Tau Light Ochre for the base - is that what you mean?
Quel spray utiliser vous ?
Games Workshop sprays
Ok but my yellow just doesn’t stick like that
Try a lot more coats, for me, my yellow can take around 5-6... Especially as I paint from black base coat most of the time...
i love the video but tau players are actually evil
Would it work on vehicles as well?
Yes - you will just need to be more precise with the wash stage
@@ThePaintingCoach Thank you for you answer! Can you write what you used as a basecoat (the white/grey) sorry you're speaking a bit fast and English isn't my native language.
It was the old corax white spray - but you can use white scar
@@ThePaintingCoach how about the light grey one (Administratum?), cause I only ever had bad experiences with GW white sprays 😅
The spray is grey seer 👍🏻
