As a person that have seen the movie like 100 times I can say that all the metal parts are way too clean. This look like he is wearing a brand new armor.
Totally agree. I thought I was the only one who noticed.
That’s my issue with a lot of Jungle hunter figures, parts of him are too clean while others are blank or wrong

This scale is really huge. I agree with the blast effect issue. Nice detailing but I wouldn't get them even if I could xD

I recently got my first NECA Predator and now I love the line. As long as nothing breaks they are almost perfect figures. Of course the sword that came with mine broke but at least the figure didn't break 😅.

I thank you for your honest appraisal of this figure! That said, I still bought this item anyway to fight my NECA Xenomorph (AKA Bigchap) as the original Predator left much to be desired. Great review!
I owned the original many years ago. The issues you have were pretty much present in the original, as well. Really nice looking figure but that's about where the praise for it ends.
I got mine recently. So glad they reissued it. Yeah those hip joints gotta go. Would have liked a helmetless head though. The helmet pops off. Makes it easier to put on the necklace. I hope they release the Dutch figure again.
I always used to wonder why the Predator wore the fish nets. Then as I got older I realized that was what helped him to become transparent. It’s part of his camouflage.
In the comics I think it also was a way for them to stay warm in colder weather. The mesh could heat up. I haven't read them in decades though

Personally, I dislike light up features unless you can plug them into power and have them on all the time.
I light them up a few times then just take out the batteries forever so they don’t corrode.

I was tempted to buy this.. But then I saw one at FYE for around $140 literally broken in packaging (the tube that connects from the chest to the shoulder was detached), and then I watched this. Damn..
Interesting that they painted the 7 inch version yellow/black and this one is beige /brown. Why aren't they the same?
Does anyone know if there are KO/bootleg versions of this? I have the chance to buy one for a VERY low price but i am concerned it is a KO.
I doubt there are for the 1/4 scale. It's probably cheap due to the low quality release

On a personal note, I have two Toybiz 18" Spiderman figures with 67 points of articulation. Why can't NECA seem to be able to have more articulation?!?

I would give that a 3. It's an action figure with no real action. It's pretty much a statue.
The figure also looks prone to breaking. I would recommend people not spend money on that.
That's a shame yours broke in two places. But at least you could rein-act the Predator two movie.
The arm isn't broken. Just unglued. Easy fix at least
Does that 'butt flap' flap if you lift it or is it hard plastic?
It's soft but on a hard frame so it doesn't move much

New 1/4 scale Predators with the Ultimate body would be way better, the engineering is so dated on this
Neca figures are SUPER stiff
A lot of money for sub-par figure quality. I think I'll pass.
