I have another version from IK and it's working for past 6 months. But they haven't used any lubricants inside which won't let the machine to work for years.

I had one of those. Worked for a while, then hands started moving independently from one another and couldn't be adjusted. It's a $20 toy.

Well, nowadays it's an accessory only and seems like not many people aware of the possibility to have one)))

Yeah, but keep in mind this is not a time keeping device with its +32s/day drift and 2.3ms unstability (that means "ticks" differ from "tocks" for this value on average).

For $23 not bad, skeleton dial looks like plastic. If thats plastic the Jewels might be also, and not oiled. Would be interesting to see tear down.

Dial, yes, that's probably plastic. Also there's no lume on hands and digits, just paint.
The movement itself is a real thing though, there's not much they can simplify while keeping the actual function.
Of course there's a question of the production culture, that's cheap, no doubt.
There's a Sea-Gull "brand" chinese watches and you can find the watchmaker's reaction here on YT.
