    Alfredo’s Pizzeria
Formerly a complimentary dining venue on past Princess Cruises vessels, Alfredo’s Pizzeria now has an à la carte charge for pizzas and appetizers, with most pizzas priced around $13-14. Despite the new fee, Alfredo’s remains as popular - and delicious - as ever.
Some of our favorites pies include the prosciutto with arugula, the seafood with shrimp, scallops, and calamari, and the romana pizza with black olives and anchovies. For dessert, you can indulge in a flourless chocolate cake or a creamy panna cotta.
    O’Malley’s Irish Pub
At O’Malley’s Irish Pub, traditional pub fare is served between 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Similar to Alfredo’s, cruisers can enjoy a three-course meal including a starter, an entrée, and a dessert for $14.99 plus gratuity. The Princess Plus and Princess Premier packages also cover meals at O’Malley’s.
    Makoto Ocean.
Previously known as Kai Sushi, Makoto Ocean is an innovative sushi bar offering set tasting menus that differ for lunch on sea days and dinner every evening. The menu selections are adventurous, even for seasoned sushi lovers.
    Umai Teppanyaki
Exclusive to Sun Princess, Umai Teppanyaki is the first Japanese steakhouse on a Princess Cruises ship. Here, highly skilled teppanyaki masters entertain and delight with their fiery cooking skills. The meal starts with starters like Pork Belly Yakitori Rocks and moves on to grill entrées such as Filet Mignon, Shrimp, or Chicken.
Within the Umai venue, you can also opt for a hot pot experience, a first for Princess Cruises. This communal experience lets guests craft a custom meal at one of the hot pot tables, choosing from three broths and several platters like seafood, meat, or vegetarian options. We loved the hot pot experience, with perfectly cooked seafood and savory broth.
    Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria
Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria has been re-imagined on Sun Princess. This modern restaurant features a new layout and elegant decor with intimate bistro-style nooks, offering a sophisticated yet cozy dining experience for groups of various sizes. Most guests will want to take a peek at the freshly made pasta prepared at the entrance of the restaurant.
The menu features unique handmade pasta courses prepared fresh daily, along with other classic Italian dishes.
    Crown Grill
A favorite among Princess guests, Crown Grill on Sun Princess elevates the classic steakhouse experience with modern, upscale decor. Inviting leather booths, circular seating, and contemporary artwork create an unforgettable dining atmosphere. The restaurant features premium aged beef and fresh seafood, offering an intimate dining experience in a classically elegant setting. Guests can enjoy views of their food being prepared in the most extensive show galley on a Princess ship.
    The Butcher’s Block by Dario
Located on Deck 9 portside at the aft of The Eatery, The Butcher’s Block by Dario is a new specialty bistro in partnership with the famous butcher, Dario Cecchini. Open for dinner with two seatings every night, this restaurant serves an 8-course carnivore’s delight in a family-style setting, focusing on a communal dining experience with family and friends.
    The Catch by Rudi
Opposite The Butcher’s Block, The Catch by Rudi is a seafood-centric restaurant offering treasures from the sea like shrimp cocktail, Seafaring Stew, and Calamari with seasoned panko coating and lemon aioli as appetizers. Entrée options include surf & turf or the catch of the day, with desserts like the signature Mozart’s Berry Composition.
