Very well done, Syl. It's always great to go back to the basics and see why they work.
I just bought two 430EX III-RT's, and like Syl says, they are very user-friendly. Another feature I love about the flash is the green backlighting will turn to amber when your flash is getting hot--a very quick visual of your flash's health.

Is Syl Arena doing a new Canon E-1 flash video presentation? That flash is not cheap, but it looks great!
I have the 600ex11RT...Do I want a transmitter or just get a second flash (430EX3RT)so I can get my 600ex11RT off camera?
You can get off 600EX 11RT off camera. You connect your camera and your flash under ETTL. ETTL is on your camera menu.

ettl alone won't do it you will need some type of connection from camera hot shoe plate to flash hot shoe. But yes the 430 ex rt iii. It can be your master...I use 430 ex rt iii as master rather than the transmitter with off camera ettl cord ec3 for my fill light and my three 600ex rt's as main light, back ground and accent light.
Presentation dies at the 51:50 mark. Goes into a load process that never ends.
I pity the fool that watches a quick start that lasts 2 hours.
