........Could be the answer, take a chance or lose it all It's a simple mistake to make to create love and to fall So rise and be your master you don't need to be a slave Of memory ensnared in a web, in a cage.....!!!!!! \\ANATHEMA//
I have yet to have the privilege to experience Anathema Live... Only band, that comes close to Anathema, that I've seen live, is My Dying Bride, but that was back in 1996. I Really do LOVE Anathema, their songs are so intense and with so much emotion.
I've heard them play this song both with "It's never too late" and "It's starting to rain" versions of the last lyrics. I wonder what the second version means to Daniel or Vincent. It fits in with the ambient, rain being a cleansing factor in some literature.
Ever since Judgement Anathema has become the auditory embodiment of pure emotion (I'd have to add Steven Wilson in there as well...no surprise that he mixed We're Here Because We're Here; I would SO love to see a full-on musical collaboration between Steven and Anathema some day). 5 minutes of Anathema's music contains more genuine feeling than any of these so-called "emo" bands can hope hope to pull off in their entire careers. I'm totally in awe of this band :)
what energy he puts in the song and perform
The "new Anathema" is like a glimpse of light and beauty in a hopeless world...
