One of the most underrated band of all time.Personally my favorite band no metal band can make you emotional like Anathema. From Death, Doom metal to Atmospheric rock, they have evolved beautifully with time without any financial support .

More Anathema awareness should be spread around. Unfortunately the band couldn't make it through the virus - they had a tour planned and when shit hit the fan all got cancelled and they went broke. So as of now they are on an "indefinite hiatus". Hopefully more videos like this will make people buy more of their music and someday soon they will make it back to the scene as a band.
criminally underrated band. one of my top favorites. their live performance is so perfect, sometimes better than the studio version. I really hope they make another album :(

Seen them many times over the years, I'm also from Liverpool, been a massive fan since the early days, they just seemed to get better and better as the years went by, incredible live band that sadly, we will probably never get to see again :(
sometimes.. 1999-2000.. i ve been walking around in my city each evening with my MC casette player :D old school old times.. and just listening Judgement album aprox. for a month or more.. over and over again.. perfect lesson of music.. and i ve been 17yo.. just me,headphones, anathema and big pack of baterries :D they are awesome..sorry for my english-not mature language
This band is incredible, can you react to Untouchable Part 1&2, The storm before the calm, closer? In fact, all this concert is great! unfortunately Anathema no longer exists, due to covid they declared bankruptcy
you dont remember them back in 90's cuz they werent playing "the same kind of music". Im still leastening to them since 90's and the definitly turned to something expetacular. Such quality, feelings.. Ill keep listening till my last day.
In the origins (1990) Anathema was a doom and death metal... after the years was change and polish musically. Thsi concert are soo perfect and dream experience- another song: Untouchable 1 and 2 ------- A natural disaster ----- The lost song Part2.
Alex, another one for you to watch is their dvd called ' A sort of homecoming', it was an acoustic gig filmed in Liverpool Anglican cathedral in 2015, I was there that night and the sound was incredible, the whole show is on youtube, I am actually on it as well as I was quite near the front :)
