  • On most 1980s-era Bally solid state pinball machines there are a few things that are needed to do to make these games reliable. I go over the replacement of a key capacitor on the power driver board which will fix common problems such as the game randomly rebooting/resetting. I also go over some mods to the board to make the game more reliable. For more visit: PinballHelp.com/

Worked for me on my 1979 Bally Globetrotters. Random reset issues. Thanks!

Actually I figured this out it’s not a random if you push both of the flippers at the same time it does that and there’s a way to fix it somehow I read online honestly I’m just gonna hire someone

I have a same era Elektra which likes to reset as soon as you look at her. Have replaced the whole driver board with a rottendog unit. All the voltages test ok. Problem persists. Particularly when you open the coin door. Earth issue?
