i thank god that i am a country boy even though i am a transplant from the low country the netherlands. my daddy was 10-15 in nazi occupied nazi occupied holland. he mentioned the happening that he ate a cat for sunday dinner. the cat was dressed out like a rabbit and he never complained that it looked like rabbit and it might not have tasted like chicken. here in the states we raised chickens and rabbits for food. dad served in the royal dutch commando corp for his one year conscription of mandatory military service. he taught me how to harvest chicken for food by example. but when it came to rabbits and other wildlife critters i learned that from hermann a transplant from germany to american and a decorated korean war veteran in the usa army.
i don't remember dad harvesting rabbits as conway twitty sang that's my job. i know how to fish if i have to though i chose not to. but i can survive. i love my country.

Just remember to pass to your children learning how to fish,hunt,grow your own food no matter where you live city or country Walmart can provide what you need but so can your hands and knowledge. Oakridge Tennessee Boy living in Mexico and Im still eating what I hunt fish for and grow. Thank you God.
