- Are these great London sights really as great as they look in all those Instagram photos? We check out the London Eye, Tower Bridge and the National Gallery for you. How much is the entrance fee and is it worth the money?
Which of these would be your favorite?

We loved the Churchill War Rooms. There js a fee but it comes with an audio guide. The museum is small but information dense so there is a lot to learn. Even my kids liked it. We also loved the Tower of London and British Museum.
British Museum, hands down, is world class. Other notables, St Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, The Mall, Buckingham Palace, walk through Hyde Park. London is worth a visit.
Great video! I totally agree :)
Also I was really impressed by the Millenial bridge and the Tower (outside because I didn't have money to buy a ticket😅)
And my dream is to return to London with my daughter and to explore every sight from the stories about Paddington :))
The National Gallery is AMAZING , I visited it every single time I went to London , and if I lived in London I would go at least twice a month . The entrance is free, for their collection , I don't remember idf they charge for special exhibitions , but if you can there is a donation box . It means Art is accessible to all ,which is sadly rare .
The London Eye does provide excellent views over the entire city but, at £40 for a standard adult, 'pay at the door' ticket (and pre-booked, a family ticket is £28 per person), it's very expensive. The Tower Bridge museum is fascinating for a 'behind-the-scenes' perspective, including views of the original machinery. The National Gallery is fantastic and, being on Trafalgar Square, couldn't be more centrally placed.
The British Museum and Imperial War Museum are awesome
Agreed - both amazing places
awesome
I really recommend the Sky Garden Tower. I went there and it was free (you only have to register), with a nice and higher view of the city than London Eye's. The range of vision is not that big but the place inside is a beauty and has a bakery shop.
Walking around the Westminster area was and still is my favourite moment.
Thank you for the tip!
There are some amazing institutional attractions and the National Gallery and British Museum have to be must-visits for anyone visiting London.
Very beautiful 😍
Great video. Beautiful photos from great artists you've used! 😍
Thumbs up to 💯
The Tower of London 😍
thanks for the tips
Hello DW team, could you make a video about the Japanese community of Düsseldorf? Düsseldorf is the German city with most people of Japanese origin with about 10,000 people. There is a street called "Immermannstrasse" which is located between the central station and the old town that has many Japanese restaurants, cafes, bakeries and shops. There is also a Japanese temple (only one in whole Europe) and Japanese school on the other side of Rhine river. There is also the "Japan Day" in Düsseldorf every year which has many visitors from whole Germany and also from Netherlands and Belgium. I would be glad if you could make a video about it.
Hello! In fact, we have thought about this topic several times. But at the moment it is not on our priority list. We will keep it in mind! Greetings and thanks for your inspiration!
The list of things to do and visit in London is endless. There is no questioning how worth visiting the British capital is.
Lady from New Zealand made me laugh when she said they don't have Michelangelo and Raphael. Well, neither do the British :) 80 percent of the things from their museums were stolen during the colonial conquests, but what can be done 🤷♀
