  • From the life of a “superpower”: 67-year-old pediatrician Nadezhda Buyanova handcuffed and surrounded by four police officers in bulletproof vests.
A court in Moscow extended her arrest until November 2.
▪️The case of spreading “fake news” against 67-year-old Nadezhda Buyanova was opened in early February following a denunciation by Muscovite Anastasia Akinshina.
The accusation is based on the fact that during the reception Buyanova allegedly asked Akinshina why her seven-year-old son was behaving restlessly. She explained that the boy’s father died at the front. In response, according to the mother, the doctor noted that the Russian military man was a “legitimate military target.”
There are no witness statements or recordings of the conversation. But for the bloodthirsty Russian “crooked justice”, an ordinary video on social networks is enough to destroy the pediatrician’s apartment during the so-called “search”, and to fire her from her job and arrest her.
▪️In addition, in the “fake” case, an aggravating circumstance appeared - the commission of an offense “motivated by national hatred” (up to 10 years in prison).
The investigation could draw similar conclusions based on the fact that Nadezhda Buyanova graduated from a medical institute in Lvov during Soviet times.
▪️An open letter in support of the defendant was signed by more than 1000 of her fellow doctors.
Health workers especially emphasized that in the Russian Federation doctors are not protected in any way “neither from legal risks nor from patient aggression.”
    But is it only doctors?
